What is that speacial something that we refer to as "sex appeal"? Can we put it into words? Think about those appealing others that have been in your life and

If you are a woman, tell us what is it that you find appealing in a man;

and if you are a man, tell us what it is that you find appealing in a woman............

Genuine self confidence and assertiveness for starters.

sex appeal-- alot of it has to do with confidence and the ability to share the shared appeal if that makes sence

It's a bit weird really. You can look at a photo of someone and not find them attractive at all. But then when you meet them it's like "POW!" they are the most fanciable person in the world!

Sense of humour does it for me, if he can make me laugh he's 95% of the way there.

A ridiculous sense of humour, insight, intelligence, and the ability to see things differently or from a variety of different perspectives...and a degree of compassion for all things...

I like a woman whos not afraid to stick bananas in her ears and make choo choo train noises. That is sex appeal to me.

Sex appeal is a state of mind... There is nothing sexier than seeing a woman confident in herself - no matter what she looks like - to be confident in herself and stall tall and be strong



for men - there is something amazing when you see men that arent scared... not scared to show their feelings, not scared to stand out in a crowd, not scared to say how they feel - thats sex appreal to me.........

I have to agree with Bella.

It's also in a mans eyes for me.

Sex appeal to me is definitely about attitude. Confidence without arrogance.

and second a man who is comfortable in his own skin, one who isn't afraid to like something that maybe isn't "manly" hehehehe ie my guy loves the color purple, is happy to run to the store in his sweats and is happy as a lark to wear big comfy slippers about the house and has no troubles with me seeing this side of him. Confidence baby he has loads of it.

Hmmmn, sex appeal, eh? Well I like women who are smart, funny, self aware, confident, cool (as in demure), and feminine. Thats the most important stuff, In terms of looks Redheads with green eyes really do it for me, and curvy not skinny. I really think like most people here that confidence (but not arrogance) is the X factor for both sexes.

Oh and I do like those girls with glasses and long hair, so that when they get home (in their doctor's uniform) they can sweep off the glasses and shake out the hair! Men are pathetic really aren't they, its a case of put on a french maid outfit, pout a bit and their like puppies, we know its stupid, but we can't help it!

A man has to be excited by his life,

a great smile and attitude to match,

accepts what is without requiring change,

fun to be with, even without conversing,

a person that can laugh at the silliest things without being judgemental,

a person to snuggle up with, long walks in the rain with,

one who can enjoy sliding in a bubble bath with his woman not caring about the fragrance in the bath and what he'll smell like afterwards,

Im very much this way. The Pamela Andersons and Britneys or what not, dont do a thing for me, too Hollywood and just icky. Homegrown is good.

Jeans a simple shirt or blouse a ball cap with their hair pulled through the hole in a ponytail! It says fun! It says sassy! it says Im not gonna break a prissy nail playing ball with the family!

Women with short hair is fine, though I think most men don't find short hair on women very attractive, I don't. Though it somes suit some women, but then it doesn't suit a lot of others. Of course that's not saying women shouldn't have short hair, its their hair and they should wear it whatever way makes them happy, but again it would be silly not to say that most men prefer longer hairstlyes on girls as its more feminine. I think this chnages a bit as you get older, but I havn't got their yet so I can't comment.

this will embarrass my self-effacing Brit, but a combination of brilliance, incredible wit and humor, pure kindness and loyalty and being there for me through all the past year has thrown at me, never ever letting me down. in a word, Bothwell. (plus he's cute as hell and has a beautiful accent :yh_flower )
