What made you decide to get her?

well my brother has one, and a women his wife was working with asked her to take her as the man who had her was going to take her to the PDSA:( he didnt have time for her. So now she lives with us:D I must get a piccy of my brothers dog Harvey he is lovely, a white staffie.

Hi Chris, nice to see you pop in again ! Nottingham has won the national 'City in Bloom' competition for quite a few years running now. They make a really big effort to have all the traffic islands looking magnificent and soooo colourful. Where there are railings they fix flower boxes with a magnificent show of brilliantly colourful blooms, and they encourage the general public to do the best with their own gardens. Public houses (Inns) also join in with equally magnificent displays of flowers and flowering shrubs. As I travel through Nottingham in my car, I am amazed by the delightful displays all over the city.

Well I remember that our city used to do quite well in the City in Bloom contest (and least to my recollection!) but the city is know becoming less green and more housing, so finding pretty sites like you have is rare. They are around, but I just don't think that the effort is put it like it has been done in Nottingham, which is a shame!

Anyway thanks for putting up the pics, it's lovely to see that some places still care!

Well I used to, just at a point things seemed to go downhill here, and it was just sad to see what had happened here considering all the good memories that I had, so I thought I would leave for a while, that's why I hadn't been here for a long time.

Though I have popped in every now and then to see how things have been, because FG is always my first and only real forum home. :-6

I am sure the reason is because we are all good friends, and are 'there for each other', and we welcome everybody new who pops in, and we try to treat everybody with the same friendly attention, even the fellas :wah: And the topics are so varied, and we have a lot of fun.

Well I know when I first arrived in here I was very welcomed, and just being able to come into a place where you can relax and chat about all kinds of things with your friends, without hassle is wonderful!

Hahaha well your weekend was more eventful than my weekend! The weather has been awful - dark and cold, so I have been stuck indoors doing the usual - watching tv, noseing around the net, and the odd spot of household work, somewhat like you have been up to by the sounds of it!

Don't we have such great and interesting lives!! :wah:
