just took the dog out for a quick wee. theres a sort of bypass that runs around the fields we go in and i just noticed the daffodils along the sides of the road, its a sort of field of remembrance on behalf of marie curie. they are quite something to see.

Kaz, you'll have to put your feet up, as often as you can. I hope your legs improve soon mate. Helen, the fact that this thread is so successful, is down to everybody who posts on it. The terrific variety of contents - poems, jokes, anecdotes, pictures, one or two personal problems, and one or two good advices and help, lots of caring posts, even discussions, but most of all lots of 'fun' and cheerfulness, with 'tongue-in-cheek' mock insults and rudeness - all taken in good part, because we know that nobody is serious about the insults and rudeness. All visitors to the thread are greeted as friends. We all play a part in making this thread as successful as it is - and top of the list ! I'm not sure if there is another thread like it in Forum Garden ! Well said mate;):)

Helen I absolutely love seeing daffodils growing in grass. The council in Nottinghamshire have made a lovely entrance into the city from the east. There is a dual carriageway the A52 and the central reservation is literally filled with gorgeous daffodils growing through the grass. This stretches for about a mile from the first houses into the countryside. Delightful !

Wow that's beautiful Gill, I wish we had scenery in our city like that!
