This morning's Moscow Times carries the following News in Brief at the bottom of page 2...Alexei Mitrofanov, head of the Liberal Democratic Party faction in the State Duma, called Wednesday for deputies to help send Madonna to the International Space Station, Interfax reported.

Mitrofanov said Madonna’s trip could be organized in 2008. He asked a Duma committee to study the possibility of helping to send the pop diva into space.Who says Muscovites have no sense of humour?

I heard a news item last night saying that Bush is gonna meet someone in the the Russian governmnet and the man is gonna ask Bush for help to stop some cartoon character with a Russian name. He said it portrays Russians in a bad light.

Ever notice how many people there are that feel they can be as nasty and rude to you as they like, but if you say anything back they get the ump?
