Our grandsons b/day party went of well.

Hope you lovely ladies are all fit & well today?

How to Paint A Wall

While I went off to work one day,

She decided to paint the wall.

And when I came back home that night,

She was curled into a ball.

Her eyes were closed, she was breathing hard,

Her hair was very wet.

From her head to the tips of her pretty toes,

She was covered all in sweat.

She was wrapped in a jacket made of down,

With a fur coat on top of that.

The wall was glowing with new, fresh paint;

On the floor, the paint can sat.

"Sweetheart!" I cried, with a worried look,

"Are you all right, my dear?"

She lazily opened her lovely eyes,

And smiled from ear to ear.

"I knew I could do it," she said with a grin;

"I followed the paint can notes.

It clearly said 'For best results,

Be sure to put on two coats.'"

afternoon all,

just been into work and theres nowt to do but spuds, im not allowed to lift the bags and it hasnt gone down too well !! although they already knew this. been sent " home " again. going to docs at 2-30 for a sick note !!:mad: and to see if i can get transport for when i have to be in hospital for 7-30am next week for that that ruddy angiogram blood test.

feeling a bit peed of at the mo, its not as if i do this very often and i've turned up when i've been fit to drop at times so i suppose they think i can do it now.

Corr blimey been cleaning all day, my daughters bedrooms needed a good tidy out, took me near on 3 hours to tidy all their crap and rub stains out of carpet lol...Looks nice now for 5 mins:wah:

i had a kidney stone lasered on wednesday and it didnt go too well, been told not to do any heavy lifting for a week................. !!

Ahhh, I'm sorry to hear that Helen....I've had my gall bladder out years ago, painful operation and the area still bothers me. I heard that kidney stones were one of the most painful things....hope you feel better.:-6
