Thats becasue as Mums we plaster smiles on our faces but the tears are there the minute we get through the school gates.

My mom used to drive me to school the first few days every year, even though it was withing walking distance.

Nope..just got dropped off up front. The only thing that messed me up was her insisting I come home for lunch each day. It got me so messed up that it was not easy for me when the time came I had to stay in school for lunch.

Oh, that's sad. I have lunch duty sometimes, everyone gets a place they want. If they are good, we go outside for basketball and jump rope and stuff....................

Today we went shopping and then went to Circuit City to pick up my Desktop PC from being Scanned and cleaned out. I guess there was a massive amount of spyware in it, as well as some deeply inbedded viruses, including a nasty Trojan. All clean now.

Then we went to the Chinese Buffett for dinner. I ate my fill of shrimp and crab legs.

And the day is SO short - by the time you've whizzed round Sainsbury's, gone home and hoovered, it'll be picking up time already!

And because the chores are done you'll have lots of time to sit and listen to her talk about her teacher, who she ate lunch with, and admire her painting!

It is sad, but also a happy time and honestly, they're only gone 5 minutes before they're home again!
