Labour Day weekend, Magenta - 1 October. Don't you have that in Victoria? Back from the coast - the water was great for swimming, really warm, and I think the temps in Sydney are going to be in the low thirties this week. Sumer is a comin in !

I told you somewhere about all those offers of money sent to mer if I would pose as a the only living relative of a man or family killed in a aeroplane crash.
Some have been very funny in their construction.
However, an EVEREST GLAZING salesman at our door today say that just by opening the e-mails and printing them I am laying myself wide open to further intrusions and give those that send them my e-mail address etc.
IS THIS TRUE?
I am really puzzled how on earth people can send "Anonymous E- Mails" and E-mails to me without my address being at the top at all.???????
Can anyone enlighten me about this nefarious practice.?
God Bless

Anyone else ever have this really odd feeling when you just can't remember how to spell a word that you have used millions of times correctly. For the love of me I couldn't remember how to spell position for about a minute. :-2

Maybe Gordon Brown doesn't jog along the Thames Embankment at dawn each morning, Chris. But John Howard certainly does a brisk sprint from his Sydney residence, along Lavender Bay to wherever he ends up.. each day he's in the area. One non-fan leaves him a daily graffiti message scrawled on the foreshore path.
I find it wonderfully reassuring somehow that our PM feels safe out there doing normal stuff, among dozens of other early Sydney earlybirds.
In Canberra a few years ago, I went for an afternoon walk and stopped on a footbridge to admire a couple of black swans on the lake. A man was walking his two dogs and also stopped to admire the swans. I twigged after a few minutes of conversation that this was actually our Governor General, our Head of State... not a minder in sight - just out for a Sunday stroll. And enjoying being normal.
Again - very reassuring somehow. Onya Australia !!!!

Hahaha well considering the shape he looks in I too would be surprised if Gordon Brown even knew what jogging was, let alone how often he does it. :wah:
Mind you going running around ther busy streets of London I'm sure isn't anywhere near as beautiful or tranquil as it would be where you are. Must be really nice I bet! :-6

All I can say chrisb84uk is "join the gang."
It is a very long time since I was infected by that incurable disease.
Related - One writer once wrote. "All kinds of writing mistakes can be cured except, perhaps. chronic misspelling."
Whilst working in a power station a colleague was asked to write out in long hand a report about a serious incident.
After he had completed it the superintendent took it from him and then gave it to his secretary to type out.
"This is full of misspellings." she complained.
"Well just correct them all and make two copies and we will get him to sign them both."
She complied.
The superintendent returned to control room with both copies to have them signed.
The engineer in question read one of the copies carefully and then blurted out, "But Mr X these are full of misspellings."
Case proved?
God Bless All.

Wow Pam, I am impressed. I was also impressed when I met Bill Clinton in Jersey City, NJ and he shook my hand and thanked me for being there for him. It's nice to see politicians so up close and personal.
BTY, our white swans are still in the Barnaget Bay. I couldn't believe it!!!!!!! Usually, they venture to NJ in November and go home to Canada in January.
I love having them delaying their holiday home in the Barnaget Bay. Spent some time with them yesterday. They actually glided up to me and said hello and then glided away...loved it.
Will try to post a pic this weekend.
