Thankyou so much Trixie Belle, More than a lover and Chris! :-4 x 3!
Trixie, I like your exploding name!

No it wasn't arithromyacyn, it turned out to be Sudafed, a decongestant for colds - which also seems to decongest your ears!
My ear's still painful but getting better. Last night it was agony and I had to o/d on Ibuprofen before I could sleep, but today the Sudafed is making it more bearable. Thanks for your kind concern guys. :-6

randall testing the ether again,
Sorry if I have given the impression that I have deserted you all but I am not alone in my problems with the rash of "Free Broad Band" in Great Britain. In fact I seem to be amongst the favoured few when even news reader Susannah Reid found it almost impossible when she took the same offer I received from "TALKTALK". I found it relatively easy - at first - BUT.
It has taken me a long time to go short distance.
Can any of you explain to me the difference between the lowly E-mail and "WEB MAIL"
I am tuck at that at the moment.
I have also found ti difficult to get more than one e-mail address working well. BUT it does work well.
Another name and password is required for access to your account.
Another pair to access web mail.
For some obscure reason they tell you to get a friend to send you and e-mail before your account can be activated???
I have hitherto found it sufficient to send an e-mail to myself. but it apparently doesn't work here in Talk Talk.
As you said Bex - I should have kept it simple
I actually backed up my entire contents of the PC to clean it out and start again but I have not the courage to press that button to start the sequence which will wipe all of my two hard drives clean.???
Weather, hot or cold - now no sneezing and swollen eyes so it must have been those few weeks of massive pollen injections into the atmosphere.
Still, doesn't the temperature drop swiftly at night now even if it was about 22 degrees today - between the rain showers.
Congratulations Bez on your achievement - so many. My number only creeps up like Uriah Heep. "Very 'umble, Sir. I'm sure."
I have missed my chats with you all and even my wife asks where all the printouts are. So she must enjoy you all too.
My daughter who's husband had to go to Florida about three years ago or loose his job by staying here has just told me that the company has laid off "RELEASED" SACKED about ten or more of them but they have decided to try and set up their own IT business out there as his immediate boss was included in the sacking but is well enough off to take on all the financial liabilities of the new company.
Please pray for them that they may be successful; in their endeavours.
God bless all.

Good to see you Randall.
As I understand it, Webmail is the service provided by the ISP. It provides the point where your email can be gathered and downloaded to your own email client program (i.e. Outlook Express). You can also easily access it from any internet connected PC in the world.
Will send out prayers to your daughter and son-in-law.

the last time we ordered pizza they included the pizza cutter in the box....after deciding that this was not in fact a bonus gift of some sort, they were called and after much laughing on the phone and in the background the manager said he would send someone over to pick it up.
they gave us a gift certificate for a free side, that was very nice of them. :-6
so...pizza, beer and free cheesy bread tonight!

I've been on a long journey and back within a day. Had 3 hours sleep, went to work, then sleep again. I did post something somewhere last night but I was so tired I can't remember much about it.

About two hours, some trains 1hr 45,ins, you can drive it in about the same time, less if you know where all the cameras are! :wah:

That's a long time on the train to go shopping. I take it Plymouth has a good shopping centre.
All the roadworks I was expecting on the way down were gone. Even with two stops, it took about 5 hours to drive down. Not bad. They were setting up more roadworks on the way home though.
Did you know that most cameras will let you travel up to 9mph over the speed limit?

It was just a day out for the kids, they enjoyed it. Plymuoth used to have a good shopping centre, but its not so good now, although there is a big new shopping centre opening there soon so maybe it will become the place to go again!
9mph, oh I thought it was about 5mph, trust me I will not be testing out your theory today! :wah:

Up here, we have a lot of cop vans with cameras that lay in wait. They operate on the 10% rule. So 30mph means you can only get away with 33mph.
I used to live in Torquay as a young boy. Mum would take us to Newton Abbot for a day out. In those days there would be a varied cattle market there.
