Hello Babe:-6

It's great to see ya again. Thank goodness the storms are over finally. Not sure about what happened your way...but we were supposed to get torrential rains and thunderstorms today...and:confused:oh, well...nothing again...just some sprinkles....

School is out and I'm a free woman again:p Miss my kidlets, but now I can play in the FG and go swimming everyday:guitarist

Party time for me now....Can I buy everyone a "Blue Lagoon Drink?"

OOPS....so sorry..didn't mean to put a shark in your drink...

Here ya go...

Nice seeing you to Kathy Ellen. :) It was a beautiful, breezy day in the low 70's. Had a brief rain, but it didn't last long at all.

Thank you so much for the drink. Never had a blue lagoon before. What exactly is in one of them? *Babe takes a sip* Mmmm, good!

Enjoy your summer vacation and what a perfect way to spend it by swimming and playing. You go girl! :guitarist

Thanks for the Blue Lagoon Mustang. My friend and I went to my favorite pub after our last day at work today...and woo hooo...we had a great time just chatting and relaxing, but they couldn't make a good "Blue Lagoon" so I gave up and had a few cosmos.

The summer has begun, and I can't wait to go to the beach tomorrow and just chill out in the sun.

Hi Babe:-6

Every summer I invite my family "down to the shore" to my little shack on the beach and have a new drink for the summer months. This summer my drink is the "Blue Lagoon." It was originally called "Condensation" what:confused:

I renamed it.....

So...."Blue Lagoon"

3/4 oz apple rum

3/4 oz coconut rum

1/2 oz banana liqueur

1/2 oz curacao

splash of pineapple juice

lemon slice and maraschino cherry to garnish

How about a couple window units to get through this summer? They sure would be better than having no air at all.

Sounds like a plan to me Kathy Ellen! :-6

We took off Wednesday night to the Allegheny National Forest in northern Pa. 8 of us in all. Loaded up the canoes, camping gear and coolers and had a blast for 4 days. Sat around the campfire and shot the bull. And a lot of bull there was too. :wah: No cell phones, laptops or cameras. What went on at camp, stayed at camp. :p Looking forward to the next trip.

Yeah, that's what happened to Idgie a week ago. She still isn't feeling too good. I've been keeping in touch with her through em. Be careful Hope!

Window units would be the way to go I think too. $4000 is a lot to fork over.

It is way too crowded Mustang. We're a few blocks away from the honky tonk town north of us so the bennies filter down south onto our beach. It's very crowded but nice because it's very family oriented so there's usually no nonsense. I'm so excited because this is the 1st summer that I've been home during the summer in a long time. So, I've invited my family down and we plan to just chill and grill. It's hard to go out to a restaurant at night since it's so crowded so we chill and grill and order from the Italian restaurant next door:wah: But, at the same time, if we leave the beach and go for an early lunch we can get a good seat in our fav places. Plus, my friends have opened a great place within a walking distance and will always get us seats and good tucker:-4

We have native american friends that make dreamcatchers. They are always bringing me new ones. I really like them too. And I LOVE their jewelry! Mustang bought me some gorgeous pieces this year! :-4 My favorite ones have to be with the real bear claws in them, a necklace and cuff bracelet. He also got me several turqoiuse pieces too.

That sounds like fun Dubs....It must be so much fun to visit a pub that belongs to your mate. Huuuummmmmm, naturally you had to try the new beers...that's what friends are for, aren't they:-6

I love my pub in town. It's called "Klees." Our family has been coming to this town ......forever........... and this pub has been here forever and has changed with the times. As kids my grandmother used to send us kids to the pub to bring our grandfather home. When the poor man arrived home she would throw her slippers at him, and we'd all laugh...lots of good memories there....all good...
