Hi Gill,

In all honesty before when I asked about arcades and tournaments.....I really meant it. I have to take a look at the arcade and figure out how to play the games nevermind the tournaments.:wah:

The only games I play are scrabble and majjong

Sorry if I have missed anyone,not intentional.

Hope you all feel fit & well today.

I have to do all the housework today,had a slack week in the house first week back at school,always do;)

The kids are all happy & are straight into school work.

On Fridays we teach them to cook,yesterday was sausages & salad.

They have to go to the supermarket & find all the ingredients,pay for them & then back to school for cooking.

This is a life skill these kids need & we make it as fun as we can.

While shopping yesterday we gave them an icecream treat for working so hard this week & then we went to the park to let them get rid of the hypo effect.

As I have said this week was full of meetings & training.

had a really late one last night, playing darts, its the best of five games in the singles and nearly every game went the full five legs :-5

it was nearly 1am when i got out of that ruddy pub last night and guess who wanted to be up and out by 8am this morning

Helen, I had your trouble last night, here, next door had some friends round and although they didn't have music blaring, they were chatting loudly, and laughing loudly till nearly 3.30 am ! We were supposed to be going out for a little trip in the car today, but have postponed it till tomorrow, cos we're all knackered - the postman woke us up at 7.30 with a parcel !!! I should have put some classical music on, like the 1812 overture (you know, the one with all the canons firing !) at full volume, at 7.45 --- wake them up next door !! serve them right !!! ----- but Chris said no, don't bring us down to their level of anti-social behaviour, grrrrrrrrr

trouble is on the rare occasions i dont get any disturbance, i tend to lay here and wait for it to start then i've wasted a couple of hours sleep. lol

Hi all:D oh dear sorry to hear of your disturbing nights,, Helen and Gill, i know Helen has to deal with them on a regular basis. Gill Hopefully that was just a one off for you. But i did just what you were going to to one time GIll:wah: I didnt bother the first saturday as i thought oh they musy have been out celebrating a special occasion and brought friends back etc, but it happened again the next week, and the next, they used to keep their 2 yr old twins up with them as well so they would sleep late the next day. So one week i made a point of getting up at 7am, went round the 2 bedrooms adjoining their house banging wardrobe doors, turned on every radio and tv in the house quiet loud. The Saturday night parties stopped;):wah:

well i got through the last week of league games today without any histrionics, so thats a bonus, only one saturday off though then the second half starts:rolleyes:
