oh okay!
well our biscuits aren't sweet, they're made with flour, buttermilk and vegatable oil and we eat them with any meal, the're kinda like loaf bread just in a different shape!:wah::wah:

One more thing... what exactly are grits?
:wah::wah::wah: actually grits are made from ground corn, but they look like oatmeal after they've been cooked, people eat them for breakfast, i don't like them myself, i know that's a very non-southern thing to say but i think they're disgusting!:wah:

We do it here at the beach sometimes when the beach is not crowded...usually in the fall. There's a natural preserve a bit south of me. A riding club takes the horses to the beach and all the students ride along the sea:-4
Lovely, isn't it

Oh, Hi Pammy and Kathy :-6 Hope you're having a good day.
I've never been horseriding on a beach, in fact I haven't really been horse riding full stop. Must do something about that, galloping along a deserted beach looks so free, like the feel of the wind rushing past is blowing away all the cobwebs and stress, it looks.....meditative and cleansing.....well, I know what I mean :wah:
Hi Koo,
I rode a horse across the strand in Co. Donegal, Ireland. It was a fabulous experience. When I was a kid, my friend and I used to take the horses out for a ride from the nearby stables to give them exercise, and we even cleaned the stables because we loved the horses so much.

I used to make friends with them and pet them and they would follow me around. How I wished I could just jump on their backs and ride off! When my son's older I might look into one of them riding tours, I know we have a few here. It is something I've always wanted to do but you know, you never get around to these things
You will do it Koo..just make it happen....Your son will loved riding the horses:-6

Yep you guessed it in one. My annoying ISP (BT) had some problem on their end, which caused no internet for 10 whole days (can you believe that, I have no idea how I survived in truth.) But it took them that long to admit they were the cause not us, and then to fix it. Lots of angry words were said (not by me of course, I'm an angel! ) but it's thankfully sorted now, so here I am!!
Glad to hear that the pub is still going strong, I see that you have all done an excellent job in keeping things ticking over, so thanks for that!!

Though the toilets could have done with a bit more work and some more shine, but I'll pass that bye! :wah:
FG patches hahaha now that would be an idea! I know it's not that comfy as a real bed, but there's always the lovely Pub couch if you need a quick nap, I'll make sure that noone disturbs you of course!
