I got presents! Thanks for the calendar, Theia. The pictures are beautiful!

And Arnold, thank you for the cardigan. It's small for me, but my beloved is thrilled. We noticed there's no tag. Is it handmade??

Thank you, Betty...it's a bit pointless waiting for Arnold, methinks...I'm way down on his list of knitting beneficiaries :(

I am happy about several things today. After I get off work, I will be starting a four day weekend...I am off on Tuesday. Also, Rick and I drove in separatly today, so I can go right home, and not have to wait around for him till 4:00. HE will already be home....his boss always sends them home at 1:00 (after a party) on the last work day before Christgmas, and they get paid for the whole day.

Next week will be just a 3 day work week...and then another long weekend. Yay for me.

I've just eaten a sausge sandwich.......the first one in 4 months.....and if you're thinking "how sad", well I haven't had a cooker for 4 months, only a microwave oven and a griller thingy. Happily, Sainsburys sell ready cooked mini sausages for the Christmas season which I've just heated in my griller thingy and placed between 2 slices of fresh bread and ....yum yum...

Last night I made two loaves of gingerbread from scratch. One for me and Dad and one for my friend.

Today I'm seeing same friend and going up into a ghost town in the hills and I'll get to wear my new coat. :)

Thank you, Bez! :)

Actually it smelled better than it tasted. It's tasty enough but I was disappointed in its lack of spiciness. Will add more stuff next time.:)

iron chef america, battle cranberry, just ended. bobby flay and the italian woman chefess (delleruntes, or something like that), vs rachael ray and iron chef Potatie (sp). now that was a show of happy stuff only not only visual but appetizing and visually appetizing...yummy for a lot of reasons.
