Talk about rabid. I once was in a small boat on a lake and a bat flew down from the trees and hovered very near us showing its teeth. I grabbed an oar but firgured I could never actully hit it. It flew back up to the trees tho. I could only think it must be rabid since it was midday. NOrmally those critters sleep through the day.

That would have made me suspicious too!

I just went to pick up some medication refills for me and Rick. Came to over $90. Rick gripped a bit, but we got 9 refills. Most were his..only two were mine. But still...sure gets expensive when you have to do so many at once. And that was not even all our medication.

Oh Chonsi, they are adorable! I bought the kids one each as I thought it would do them good to have something to care for and look after.

I thought they would enjoy watching them bounce around but they are just hysterical to watch! I get waaaaaaay more fun out of them than I could have believed possible!

They are almost identical to look at, but their personalities are so completely different! Stew is a crazy bun! He is very daring and adventurous. He was the first to get over the barricade and behind the TV and had us freaking out trying to catch him before he bit through the TV wires! He was quick to learn to hop out of his box, out of his pen and up onto the sofa. He is also very friendly and loves snuffling us and licking us and being petted.

Casserole is a nutcase, but a jittery one. She has a lot of feminine qualities and I wouldn't be surprised if (s)he turned out to be a girl! (Stew is definitely a boisterous boy!) Casserole will jump away if you move too quickly and runs faster than Speedy Gonzales around the room! Its funny that they can both run fast and neither hits anything apart from each other! Casserole zoomed across the room the other day and couldn't stop in time, so she went head first into Stews butt! :wah: She was also looking out of her pen yesterday. She scrabbled up the sides of the pen then dropped her paws onto poor Stews head! Stew kinda looked around as though to say 'who turned out the light?'

Casserole is also very nosy! You see her ears rising up slowly over the top of her box and then her head appears. Its just like a periscope as it goes up and then slowly turns from side to side. Thats EXACTLY what she does! The slow periscope head rising and turning slowly side to side. Its SO funny to watch!

My son likes to hold them against his chest and stroke them, so they look like a pair of bedroom slippers. But when they're playing in their pen they curl up together and look like a yin-yang symbol. Its so cute!

They've nibbled through a bit of the phone wire. They've bitten holes in both kids trousers AND tee-shirts AND socks AND my daughters jacket! It takes 2 seconds to go Chomp! Chomp! Big Hole!!! The kids find it hilarious! My chequebook is quaking in its boots wondering what the damage will be!

Well, the kids DO need some new clothes and I WAS thinking about replacing my old hairdryer AND my phone! *ahem*

Hubby has got a new camera and spends lots of time fiddling with it and very little time actually taking photo's! Duh! So I must ask him to take a few of the buns, he can practice using all the fancy buttons on it then! hehe

How is Hamilton doing Chonsi? How old is he now?

Stew and Casserole send him their love!

I went in for 2 hours to open my classroom-I got to snitch the best colored butcher paper for my bulletin boards. Robin Egg's Blue.

It is a nice day so far-I got a big smile from my husband when I came home.:-4

We don't do the honey thing down here... but when i lived in Iowa, they made sweet corn bread, they did the honey thing, that was yummy!!

The beans didn't turn all that well this year beacuse of the heat and lack of rain, but Zuccuni and Yellow squash, and tomatoes and cukecumbers coming out of ears! :-6

Mine are late, because I didn't know I had planted any! They reseeded after last year, and popped up in the flower garden!
