Ok, so am I a total geek?? I went to the bar after work and lasted one cosmo! It's happy hour and guys are already starting in. tomorrow is my first day off in three weeks and I am home and in for the evening! Granted I need the rest, but I was planning a night out. I welcome conversation from the boys, being single and all, but why do they assume that you are at the tavern looking for, sex, at 5 o'clock on Friday afternoon??? Maybe I am just celebrating TGIF!!!!

I am so not man bashing, I LOVE men, really. I think I'm just tired. I don't think men are morons, I think we are wired differently than they are, but people are people. You have women that are complete B##ches for the sheer hell of it. It works for both genders!

Look in the grocery stores or laundromats. Any man doing the shopping or laundry cant be all bad.

I met a girl once who asked me where I'd like to grab her. I said Scotland would be nice :rolleyes:

My daughter is here for the weekend and a couple of friends are staying here tonight. I was going to cook a nice meal then I realised that one friend is a vegetarian and the other doesn't eat vegetables.

Hmm......any ideas other than pizza?

I appreciate the advice, really, but I learned years ago not to take up with men you meet at bars. They are good for one night, maybe,,,, I find these days, I steer clear of bars. But where is an attractivve woman supposed to meet a man? I don't do church?? Any suggestions? I'm not desperate, I would just like to have q companion....

Join a reading or writing group, take ballroom dance lessons-my friend met a wonderful mate doing that-oh, you are probably younger then me. Hmm, join some kind of group that does something you like, and see who might pop up, you will at least have a good time anyway!

Good Luck!! It's early, I'm going to try to mow my grass brfore it'ts too hot to move. Yea!! Mowing at 7 AM, welcome to summer in the South!!

Yeah, I'm up in Maryland. I did my front yard last night, I will do the back this afternoon. That is where the jungle is!

Ha-that is good! I have an old fashioned push mower, I will get my work out again this afternoon.

I keep waiting for those southern gentlemen on either side of me to help me out once in awhile-they know I have to do it alone with the kids with my husband ill. They've never mowed or edged it once, just run their mowers right down the line. Oh well, it is my one complaint of the day. It just hurts my little old back lately to do it everytime.

Heeeeeeee. I just got back inside from work out back. I got the yard mowed and flat tires fixed and so forth. Its hot already. Need to get a shower then go shopping! Heeeeee. Dustin went to Utah now to work for a month.He finally got a decent job and I might be able to quit paying his rent. He has to work hard but gets health care and good pay.

Hey, how about you make one of your neighbors a cherry cheese cake and hint how you would like help on the lawn. A nice smile might help too.
