I have to say that Poe is my favorite. I enjoy Shakespeare and I love the down to earth poems of Oliver Wendell Holmes.

We had a hurricane threat in Tampa quite a few yrs ago. People were losing power and the local radio station was acting as the middle man for those that had things and those that needed things.

People on respirators needed generators etc. I was a big talk radio junkie back then, I used to call all the time, we were sandwiched between an airport, a hospital and a fire station so our grid stayed on but we did lose cable. So everyone is calling up with real problems and I call and complain about the cable being out. :wah: Maybe you had to be there. Then again that was back in the drinking days. Seemed funny at the time.

Well, electricity just went out again here, it was out for over 2 hours......we're on a roll, time for Vegas!

Yeah, it's only Wheel of Electricity for me this weekend.

We will go one day, snooze.

Wow!!! You are so lucky. He was a really strange man. So gifted yet so dark. He was told many times he was crazy and he did not deny it at all. But he felt sorry for people who only had dreams while they slept. I think he used too much absinthe.

My last is in her senior year of college-but she is going to go to grad school. I still have a few more years left of a kid in school.

AAggghhhh I must be mad, sitting here with two extra children, ones in the corner with a gameboy, ones playing a PS2, another is playing with K'nex and the third is basically running between the others. The noise levels are unbearable!!

And stupid lil' ole me is here trying to do paperwork that has to be done in an hour!

The ironic part is that I have the extra two children so their mum could do paperwork in peace. :rolleyes:
