Like Carol I had a very iffy day yesterday, not so bad as Carol though. Well let's hope that out of the trauma created by other pedantic dogs- with- bones, comes a little compassion, a lot less arrogance, and more gentlemanly behaviour. The latter, I'm afraid and to quote another scandalised member, will not happen from one direction - "until hell freezes over".

We took our lovely German Shepherd to the vets this morning for a biopsy on a lump which had appeared just infront of his rib cage. The results will be back probably next Monday, and if it is benign and isn't irritating him, it will be left without surgery. If it is malignant, then he will have to have an operation to remove it. At 11 years old, going under an anaesthetic is always a risk, but he is a pretty fit and strong dog. Anyway we''l just have to wait and see.

all this arguing in the garden is depressing, come on here for a laff and not getting much of it lol...

Hubbys brother is here, getting a shower now, him and his wife have split up and hes living out of a camper van, im hungry and want my tea but I cant eat it while hes here (he doesnt want any) so maybe I seem crabby cos of that lol

Anyways had a better day today in work so feeling quite chipper and he dont arf feel good hah hah:)

I could just eat a nice peppered steak with a jacket spud and salad and a side order of onion rings........mmmmm then madagasgan vanilla cheesecake with rasberries and sauce..............frikken bacon,egga n beans im getting:(

Hi again:D Had a really lovley afternoon out, good meal a few drinks in a lovely old riverside pub. then off to the roker hotel for one more drink. nice view of the sea. went to drop off sis in law before taking home father in law and the car conked out!!!!!!!! had to get the AA:rolleyes: Anyway we are home now and the car will have to be sorted tomorrow. we are used to this sort of thing seeing as the car is used as a taxi for my husband to keep me in the manner im accustomed:wah::wah:

We had a bloody stormy night here last night,hail,wind, thunder,lightning.

Started at about 1:30 am & lasted till about 5am.

I personally measured 110mm rain,this is true because it came out of my rainguage I checked it precisely before I threw the water out on to the garden.

So every thing is on the up & up.:p

Our golf course looks like a large lake,one of the pubs lost it's roof.

Our daughters shed was full of water,our back garden is now on the road.

Our son had to pump a hell of a lot of water out of his pool it was overflowing,our daughters pool is full of mud.

No one cares because we have been in drought for so long this is exciting stuff.

I will admit I have never been or seen rain like this before & I am an old coger so I know what I am talking about;)
