I'm looking all over for you. Where are you hiding?

I had to go pee, feed up the birdfeeders, change the water in the birdbath, staining our new portch with hubby.....he is home on vacation for a week, ahhhhhhhhhhh!:wah:

he also made for me an insulated cat house........damn stray has been here for 3 months..........we have been feeding it, but cannot get 4 feet near him........so hoping he will use his new house for winter!

That's so nice the stray cat will have nice warm shelter. The way to get the cat to use it, is to put the food you feed it inside the shelter. This way the cat will get used to going in there.

goin to put it right on the floor where his door is,, then slowly move it back.........so hopefully he will go right in.

it has a hallway, then he has to turn the corner and that will be his bed that I will do up freshly each day..........this way he is out of the drafts!

also there is a top cover, completely insulated as well, I can open this to make his bed and change his food, if, if he goes in.............

This sounds really nice for this poor stray cat. I hope everything goes as planned. You and hubby are great people to try and help the cat!

thanks TM, we both will do above and beyond any call with animals and have even taken in 3 strays over the years, saved birds and dogs as well, even a pidgeon whom most despise!



I just hope the stray uses it, it will be on the front portch by tonight, but he also may be to afraid to sleep there, most strays have spots of they're own.

Mike has done sooooooooooooo much work on this, and he said what a great idea I had by insultating it, and my drawings with the long hallway, then him turning into another room.....so there won't be any drafts..and his idea with the top opening, so I can easily bring out and put in a fresh warm blankey every day.

with my luck..................a raccoon will hybernate there over winter!

luckily it will sit on our portch, postman goes there, flyer kids, hopefully Mrs. Racoon or Mrs. Skunk will be frightened away by the noise!
