That's exactly what we're making, a salad too, 'cept for dessert we're having thick chocolate walnut brownies with chocolate frosting on them. Had the butcher cut our steaks 1" thick. Am sure lookin' forward to them! :-6

yeah i've been outside with Jacob enjoying the weather but he got kinda tired i think so we came in and now he's asleep!:wah:

Hi Mustang, Hope, JAB and other fellow pubbers. We had a very weird storm last night - ten minutes of sudden hail, thunder and lightening. The whole ground was white. Today the sun is shining.

Anyone want coffee???? I've just come from the baker and have a basket full of fresh butter croissants. Brekkie time.

Yeah, a storm is brewing here too. Just got our steaks grilled and finished eating. Looks like a doozy of a storm heading in.

Thanks Mustang. I thought Hinderland was like Back Country, not an actual place... will look it up on my map. There's been some mighty storms in some parts of your country lately. Worrisome. A few years ago I had the 'pleasure' of trying to outrun a tornado in Texas in the company of a very fine Oklahoman. Never seen anything like it.

Kathy - so good to see you, Girlfriend. Do hope you're fully recovered. I have a pic of Dieter doing the early morning bread round with me. He looks so French with a baguette in one hand and crunching on a croissant. I gotta feed folks here, but will dig that out after brex.

(Not exactly a masterpiece of photographic brilliance, but ya get the idea)

yeah got a lot of stuff going on with the farm today, not work but business stuff.

Weather was beautiful, cooked out, etc. It's a tad bit on the humid side this morning. But they say a cold front is coming through tonight to cool things off.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend also, The weather has been just great for the weekend BBQ.

My weekend was great, Got a lot of outside things done from mowing the yard to getting the garden ready to plant if the weather ever holds. Did a late afternoon BBQ also. What a way to top off the day! :-4
