Why does the word 'suspenders' in England mean a sexy band around a woman's legs which hold her sexy silky stockings up, but in America it means an unsexy band around a man's tum to hold his rather unsexy trousers up??? :wah:

What does this tell you about men and women and dictionaries and the man who first invented the pencil?? :sneaky: :D

Well Rapunzel thats a great question, it reminds of the time I was in Bangkok rousing about with Thai girls and smoking that yummy Thai stick. One night late when the moon was full and shimmering on the waters I met a man who explained that very thing to me. It was a night cloudy from the exotic smoke so I dont recall anything he said. I hope that helps.

Im afraid I have to take a brief hiatus from the ever important "Hi Nomad here how may I help ?" thread.

My wife has found a project, when she starts a project she gets a funny look on her face. Its in my best interest to make myself scarce when that happens. Ill go wander around Home Depot and buy some nails or something.

No. Im a clean freak. I will blow my nose in an appropriate umm blowing device such as kleenex then carefully wrap the offensive material in an unused kleenex disposing of it purposefully in the nearest trash receptacle all the while keeping the whole matter discreetly private.

This reminds me of D Day. I was storming Normandy Beach with thousands of my fellow soldiers when it dawned on me that there were people shooting at me. It was a pivotal moment for me and it was the day I found out how long I could hold my breath under water. I swam all the way to Morrocco not once coming up for air. It was there I was introduced to Morroccan hashish and black opium. The next few months are a little hazy, but I do recall buying a hand embroidered vest from a street vendor. That evening in a dimly lit and secluded opium den my mentor unloaded the secrets of vests and waistcoats upon me. If you and I are ever in a Morroccan hash house Ill tell you all about it Rapunzel.

Uh really its been a lot of painting and taking light fixtures down and new ones up. Its all satisfying and were getting near the "feel" we want which is warm and "artful"

I would say I was most surprised when the plasma tv didnt fall off the wall. Ill put pics up when were happy with it ok ?
