its raining..been raining all day..all nice and snuggly inside..

21ºF with a light breeze today.

All day yesterday and all last night there were howling gales outside.

Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow on the ground.

I'm tucked up in bed at the mo. with flu. I've lost my voice (a Godsend I'm sure!), I've drunk enuff Benylin to float the Titanic and I missed the last day of school.

It is very cold on Merseyside today, the temperature in the car was -6. Snow is forecast for later today!

Aw, I feel so badly for you. It's bad enough having the flu but to have to go out in horrible weather really stinks. You need to rest up and again, I hope you feel better soon!

strong winds and rain.

There is still snow lying about, the roads (ungritted of course) are sheet ice, and it is raining light rain on and off. This lands on the very cold roads and adds to the dangerous conditions by freezing on contact! Even though the temp. is fractionally above freezing, the ground has been so cold for so long that any rain/sleet/snow landing freezes immediately! Now the wind is getting up ! I've got a flamin cold, I ache all over, we're in the middle of a credit crunch, I'm fed up with it all .... ........... .....................Do you think I should go and shoot myself ? :-5 :rolleyes:

6 PM here in norther California and the temp is 57 F. It was a sunny and clear day with temps in the 60's. and visibility all the way to the Sierra foothills where snow can be seen.

It's been sleeting since midnight last night and the roads are like an ice skating rink I have a Police scanner and the amount of accidents is just crazy as are the people who try to drive on ice :-5

It is 20degrees. Snowing a very fine snow and the wind is blowing very hard and in gusts of 35 miles per hr. The waste paper is piling up in garage with wrapping paper and all. I think this is a good day to stay in and read. The heck with the sales, I'm tired of shopping anyway. :(

Danged COLD.

about an inch of snow fell Thursday night, melted a bit in th sun Christmas day, and formed a nice crust.

Today was WINDY and cold. and we had to fight a crosswind and icy patches all the way home.

There is something about snow in the moonlight that is so enchanting, especially in the country.

I am lovin' this snow! it's cold but not too cold! :wah:

Pouring rain mixed with sleet

It's not bad here, a little cloudy, going to be 70ish, we're getting ready to go to a Fair in Delray (perfect weather for this) where they "close the streets" and everybody walks all around looking at all the crafts for sale!

Usually hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, popcorn, cotton candy, and the likes, for sale as well!

Right now it's 6 degrees with 35 MPH winds. We had 4 inches of snow yesterday and it's blowing all over the roads making white out conditions in some areas.

Winds are gusting to 44mph. Feels like my home is shaking....very nerve wracking to say the least. Of course my neighbors didn't batten down the hatches and their c*ap is all over the place

still have snow lying here. haven't had anything like this for decades.

10ºF (-12C) with 6" of new snow on the gorund. Wind chill factor is making it feel like it's below zero. At least the sun came out today which made it feel warmer then it was when we were out shoveling.

Not so bad in Kingston atm. 3 or 4 degrees and out of the wind here under the hill. There seems to be a line between London and Bristol - south of it is fairly mild, but I have been watching events further north here at home and in the US with increasing interest and concern - three dead in Scottish avalanches yesterday and gmc saying nothing like this for decades, and Kathy Ellen with her neighbours flying past her house in the storms! Interesting times.
