I hope able bodied people will help their neighbors this winter. There's a lot of elderly people out there that just should not be shovelling. There's a lot of younger people with physical problems who shouldn't be out there shovelling.

Weather here in Berkshire is cold and grey - however am going on hols on Friday, and it's gonna be 30 degrees C with scattered tropical storms!!! Whoop whoop! Can't wait!!!!:-6

Right now we have 8 inches of snow on the ground with a coating of ice over it. It's snowing lightly with a temp of 22 degrees right now. We are under a wind advisory where the winds could gust up to 40 MPH.

I am going to Sunny California for a week.

Just checked the weather in Santa Clara County.

Highs in the 50's, lows in the 40's and drizzle.

We have had about 2 weeks of rain here in Paradise we have no idea how to drive in the rain. :driving: Next week will be sunny looking forward to that. :-6

oiy -30C here and if you add the windchill factor in this takes us to about -37C.

However I am glad I do not live in this provinces capital they hit about -46C as a record low this weekend.

Snowing and very cold today but everything looks so pretty. Tis the season for our snow so I can't complain.

It's a beautiful, warm winter day today! Much better weather than it was in Chicago yesterday... I was up there visiting one of our esteemed exFG-ers for the weekend. I've been enjoying all of the harsh Midwestern weather we've had over the past week, though.

we had snow in my part of cornwall last year, for about 24hrs and it bought the whole damn county to a standstill despite having been warned about it some days earlier, i must admit that bodmin moor and dartmoor often get it quite badly but no one ever seems prepared for it !!

Fog----------spine chilling----testicle numbing fog, which is quite normal in this part of California. It comes in early in the AM and usually is gone by afternoon with the sun coming out.

Right now it is freezing cold and the temp is 4 above zero.

It's 28F here at the beach, extremely windy and just plain cold and damp. I forgot to call the plumber to shut off and drain my outdoor shower.....Your man finally came today and hopefully all will be well...oy vey....he found ice blockage in the pipes, but he thought it would be ok:(...hope so...

'Tis the time of year for cold temperatures. Suppose to get some snowfall over the weekend, but they haven't determined how much yet. I'd rather have the snow than the freezing rain.

I sure hope so, that your pipes will be ok. Hopefully he caught it early enough.
