Sooooo our Gill is 85 today............ahhhh bless....So how is everyone.........bloody cold here i tell yer.Ere wanna laugh....Well....Chris said a few weeks back that no way would he have fairy plates in his new house as its a "geezees" house....well........guess what:wah:.......yesterday he put some up that we.........well more me;)..........bought on Ebay......and guess how many.................16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yh_rotfl.......still.........he had his 5 minutes of glory dont you fink;)Gawd if he reads this Im in bigggggggggggg trouble:wah:Lots of love sent to all me dear matesxxxxxxxxxx

There's always an accident on the A12, or a slowmoving tractor.

Yep absolutely freezing here, im great, finished the last of me chrimbo shopping today, just have the horrid food shopping to get now...Least I dont have to cook it an all :wah::wah: Hubby likes to cook, well thats what I tell him anyways:wah:

I'm very touched, Carolly. Thank you for the welcome!!! And the introductions. WOW. Maybe we can sing raucously together. I've had many adventures on the A12. I came over to the UK after my daughter (who lived in Capel with her husband who was from there) had a baby, became very ill and was for months hospitalised in the Priory in Chelmsford. I stayed in Capel but drove every day to and from Chelmsford along.. yep.. you've guessed it... the A12. All weather. Well not a lot of sun. Snow. Sleeet. Roadworks. More roadworks. Tempest. Hurricane. rain. The spookiest was driving back to Capel on Christmas night. NOTHING ON THE ROAD EXCEPT ME and FOG !!! Ah, fog, yes, how could I forget the fog!!!!! Couldn't see a thing. The weirdest was when I saw a road block of some kind, ducked off on a side road, rejoined the A12 later and finally realised why there had been a roadblock. Massive police chase on and nothing on the A12 except me, a trillion police cars and some getaway van full of crims... yeah...

Took my girls to Minehead about 3 years on the trot when they were younger cos they loved the Noddy toyland, even stayed in the Noddy bungalows heh heh

Yes, I have often gone up the A12 in the dark, just me and my little car, it can get quite spooky.

Did you know the A12 is one of the most haunted roads in the UK, phantom cyclists and all?

it's the motor bikes which scare me most - all along the a12 are signs saying, think, bike, well the bike should think - they think the road rules don't apply to them.It's very very frightening when you check your mirrors often like i do, see nothing, and then 5 seconds later a motorbike arives on top of you doing 150 miles an hour.
