No Sheryl!! Grin. Okie - when the internet first started - I leapt into the surf with a loud yeeeeeee haaaaa, as you know, and in those heady days nobody really took any er precautions. We used full names, put photos and email addresses and heck snail mail addresses everywhere. Our workplaces put their whole phonebooks on line and all that jazz. By the time it dawned that some of this was maybe not that good an idea, the damage was long done. The waybackwhen search engine can even find deleted information in old caches. So I reckon - go with the flow - confuse the buggers. Put a zillion bits of info up, with lots of variety - and hopefully any baddies will drown in the flood.

As a Linux fan (well I used to have a box on my desk alongside a PC and a Mac) I enjoy finding all the references to PAM as Pluggable Authentication Module - now there's absolutely gotta be a limerick in that - though I can't guarantee that it won't contain potential profanity (tlw thread).

We have a popular cooking spray here that just will not let anything stick to it called Pam. Heee. buttery Pam is best.

Pam's non-stick-spray authentication
Is a work of supererogation
Buttery but profane
She will drive you insane
With her modular versification

Or maybe some random PAM blues:
Woke up this morning on that ole southbound train
Modular but authentic and me shoes filled with rain
Plugged a bloke down in Memphis who done drove me insane

Yeah - she seems happy enough with it. Not so for my son though who is estranged from his mom. He e mailed my daughter yesterday and asked "Have you got a new brother yet?" - Note the you and not we.
Maybe the new arrival will, despite statements to the contrary, harmonize all the bitterness. I hope so, but doubt it.

How old is your son Unc ? It's funny but sons seem to have a lot of problems with the 'reconcilliation' thing.

From the age of 8, he regularly asked me to leave my ex and take him with me. There's a lot of anger there that needs dealing with.
He's 23 this year.

I don't know BB??????? Would rather like to. The Oz clocks stay put till next weekend, as I think do the American (and Canadian??) clocks. Something to do with the Commonwealth Games??? Of course we fall back.
Just got the answer to that. Yes. Brit clocks have in fact gone forward. So we're all out of sync, for a week.

And the poor dog will have to cross his legs for a bit longer before he can venture outside to releive himself....because of all the skunks moving around.

Hi Susie. That's as good a random thought as any. Where are you from? And where do you live now? I just put my youngest daughter on a plane back to London where she works in MTV. Her brother also lives there. It's hard being so far away. I absolutely LOVE a full English brekkie, and fix it from time to time. Can't get Brit style pork sausages here in Australia. They say they're the same, but it's bollocks.. Grin. If you're in the States, as I suspect, and are anywhere near Chicago the Irish pub, Fado's does an all-day Irish breakfast which tastes absolutely like the English ones I crave.
Edit... G'day LC, Valerie. We're obviously playing tag round the FG.. grin.
I'm all inspired to make and English brekkie for supper here tonight. Have all the fixins of a great bubble and squeak fryup, along with bacon, tomatoes, baked beans, sausage, egg, mushies.
(Of course a real one has kidneys, liver, fried bread too, but I think the above will hit the spot quite enough - I can feel my arteries hardening already)

When I got back from work, I put all my clocks forward 1 hour as I didn't do it last night. I didn't realise that my daughter had put just the kitchen clock forward an hour while I was at work, so it ended up 2 hours forward.
Good job I realised - the last thing I want to do is turn up for work early in the morning

Don't forget I'm working 7 days a week at the moment, and will be doing at least 1½ hours extra each night. Appreciated isn't a word that really features in my working vocabulary

I sure hope not either.......I worked 6 days a week for 5 yrs straight...couldn't imagine working 7. I'm just glad to be working 5 now, and for as many hours per day as I choose to.
