Ah, needed some giggles today...and had to do an errand for a friend from facebook...they are looking for somebody & I'm not banned so I did her a favor:wah:...still have to get a few more things (I was pooped out today, and took a breather) but did manage to bake some choc chip cookies:wah:...will be baking all day tomorrow

Had a lovely Christmas day,, My dinner wnet ok and was a huge success:D dauhgter and oartner, mam and dad came for lunch ,,, son and partner came tea time! Everyone was pleased and happy with pressies etc and daughter said how spoiled she was,, (true!:sneaky::yh_rotfl) Boxing day was spent slobbing around doing nothing. Since then i have been visiting,, had visitors,,etc :wah: got some good sale bargains. Went pout Sunday night with kids and families to a pub on our seafront called the Smugglers, they ahve groups on singers etc,,, but we didnt stya long as you could hardly move and the heat was unbearable! It was Baz Warne that was on so hence the mad crush,, as he used to be in the Stranglers :wah: Anyway i was'nt bothered so we went to somewhere a bit qiueter and where you could actually move:rolleyes: ,, had a lazy day today and going to my sons tonight just for a chat and a bottle of wine:D

I've just spent most of the day in Ikea.. helping my daughter get a whole bunch of things from lamps and desks to my Chrissie pres for her - a big old armchair she can curl up in to read. I'm pooped. Have cut up some leftover ham and made a pasta dish with it for supper.

Its a horrible dark and rainy day here,, well rain and sleet and hailstones, dam haiolstones woke us up through the night last night!:wah: Supposed to be getting more snow, dunno about that

Good morning MrsK, Pam & Kaz...getting ready to go shopping in a bit and will then relax the day away watching the kids & doing the old fun of laundry (my washer is messed up)....so it takes a good while to play around with it...must call repair man next week...too much going on in the house at the moment & don't want Quin to bother him:wah:...getting all the goodies for New Years today & mostly making finger foods for Thursday. OMG, last night hubs had to clear my neighbors sewer trap...my neighbor & Quin were both standing there & smelling the stinky air & Quin in his devious brain tricked his friend Faith to come over & smell this pleasant air:yh_rotfl...she ran into our house & screamed "it smells like pooh out there":yh_rotfl....it was hilarious:yh_rotfl

Hello,, we got a little snow,, and ice patches around but otherwise just freezing weather.

We have just took all our decorations down and now the place just looks bare.

Well things have to get back to normal sometime i guess ... Work tomorrow

Tree is still up along w/the decorations but that will all change on Wednesday...Thursday is rubbish day so out goes the tree

took all ours down on saturday ,, then just noticed last night two candles in little christmas candle holders are still out:wah::wah:

lol there usually is something to forget,, but for once upto now i havent.

off to go make dinner...brekkie for dinner...french toast & scrapple...good warm dinner on a very cold night

Yes, it was warm & delish. I have 2 of my teens home today with a stomach virus...I have it some of it yesterday...not fun so they probs caught it from me:(...at least they are resting/asleep.

I have just heard that our good friend Kaz may have possibly broken her leg today while walking Sheila...slipped on ice & was in total agony. Haven't heard much else but have Carol keeping me up to date. I just hope Kaz is ok and that her leg is not as bad. I'm sure she is in much pain and will keep you all up to date...she's not gonna be too happy without her pc in the next few days as her leg will probs have to be elevated...so all friends of Kaz, keep her in your thoughts & prayers and hopefully it will be a speedier recovery for her. Btw, the dog is fine lol

Hello spoke to Kaz's daughter on phone, she has told me she in hospital with a broken ankle. She will keep me informed.

Poor Kaz, crikey that must have been agony for her. Shaz pass on my good wishes when you next make contact, please !

Better than a broken leg but all the same...pain for a few days. I do hope she's ok...good Shaz. Well, she won't be walking Sheila for a few weeks & will have to keep her foot elevated for at least a few days.

I'm sending her a cyber get well card tomorrow morning & will give her a ring in a few days as I'm sure she's on some nice high flying pain killers.

Just to let you know that Kaz just text me and shes home.....she had no op which shes truely thankful about and has a cast on and has to keep her leg elevated and she says shes over the moon shes home.Her kids are there at the mo and im sure are spoiling her big time and why not....what a way to start off the year fgs.Anyway I will be talking to her on the phone and will tell her of everyones good wishes and if im not about here im sure Shazz will keep you updated:-4

Just 5 days into the New Year and already being pampered lol...I'll bet she secretly loves it Carol lol:-4...but like everything else will be driving her batty in a few days:wah:...how long is the cast on for?

I had a brief conversation with Kaz as well, unfortunately i was on a bus at the time so felt a bit awkward speaking lol i did get the same information as Carol has just said though.

I will ring to speak to her another day when i am home and can talk properly and will pass on everyones best wishes.

Ok ladies ive just got off the phone with Kaz after having a long chat with her and shes in pain but so glad she didnt have an op.She will have her cast on for abit and I know will get well bored and not fun having to have ye leg stuck up in the air but I will be ringing her every day for a chat and I know her kids will pop in when they can and members of her family so lets hope the time will go fast for her.I gave her your best wishes btw and she sends her love;):-6
