We have a state park nearby where the horses can run along the beach...wonderful to watch:-6

What a wonderful sight, Kathy ! It reminds me of when we visit Norfolk, we sometimes see the army with their gorgeous horses, which come on holiday for about 10 days and enjoy galloping along the long stretch of firm sand near Holkham. I can't remember which regiment it is, but could be The Household Cavalry. (The Queen's summer home, Sandringham House is only a few miles from that lovely stretch of firm sand!). They bring about 2 dozen horses each time they come, and maybe they make several trips a year. Not sure where they are stabled when they visit, but it could well be Sandringham.
