Hmmmm. John O'Groats to "the midlands" is about 500 miles - that's as far as it gets over here (850 miles between the two most distant points on the mainland).

I fear you might have further to travel.

Wow this thread really has taken off since I last saw it. And you guys are thinking of coming up my way huh, oh how exciting if you could, especially as I won't have to worry about the travel! And the date hehehe, don't suppose you could move it from a Saturday to the day before, because that would be a laugh as that is my birthday (oh the fun we could have!) What a great birthday present that would be, having another FG meet up.

Hehehe well it is the day after my birthday, so I have no idea what condition I might be in! :p But if you guys are doing it in the Midlands, (or even better here in Worcester,) then sure I'd love to meet up with you all!! Just bare in mind that I do rely on public transport too, so I will have to work around that factor.

I would like to come too if I can.

Can you let me know details nearer the time and I'll see if it's possible.

Could do yep, though of course I would have to pass on directions, as it is quite hard to get here from the M5.

Have we any actual locations, more specific than the Midlands in mind?

Ok sounds good to me! Will certainly have to bring our woolies, because it is going to be mighty cold at the end of January. Last FG meet is rained, can you imagine if it snowed, now that would be magical!

You forget Missy, we don't do 'snow' like that down here, last time we had a decent amount of snow I was a child and more interested in building snowmen, with carrots for noses. :p

Well if you do stick with the end of January as the date, then depending on my birthday and whether my grandparents come to stay, (they have a habit of doing that around birthdays,) then I'll have to see whether I can come. I hope I can make it though, especially as it will be so close to home. Fingers crossed!

Are we ABSOLUTELY dead set on Birmingham then? If so lets get looking for things to do! Seeing a band may be nice, but we cant really visit doing that can we?
