I was quite dumbfounded when I found out that the English language was started in the 16th century when the King James bible was put together. Apparently, Shakespeare was one of the first people to apply it. I think it's so beautiful compared to the modern English language.

I always thought that English just came together out of all the languages from old Briton and all the races that conquered Britain. Not so. it appears that it was created especially for the English version of the bible. Shakespeare took good advantage of it.

I'm off out now, but let me leave you with this.

As an unperfect actor on the stage

Who with his fear is put besides his part,

Or some fierce thing replete with too much rage

Whose strength's abundance weakens his own heart,

So I, for fear of trust, forget to say

The perfect ceremony of love's rite,

And in mine own love's strength seem to decay,

O'er-charged with burden of mine own love's might.

O let my books be then the eloquence

And dumb presagers of my speaking breast,

Who plead for love, and look for recompense

More than that tongue that more hath more expressed.

O learn to read what silent love hath writ;

To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit.

thankyou, thst is lovely... i have been thinking about what you wrote, if Will was one of the first to utilize English, how is it his plays were so popular among the 'common' people? i am a little perplexed.

His intention was to educate them through wit, humour and love. But this is another thread altogether. I must go now, perhaps I will start the aforementioned thread once I've checked back on a few things. LOL LC and Bothwell. Must depart.:-6

So gracious is your reply

Dear lady, that I should die

But that I hear no more from thee

I had a great day - I never even changed out of my robe....it was fun to be a slacker from hell. The nicest part of the day was everytime BTS and I were together we were holding hands or napping or cooking or just being a lovey dovey couple together.

I was all ready for work and then thought, right, I'm not feeling brilliant so I'll use up a couple of the many lieu days owing to me. I had no appointments and so no=one, only a mound of paperwork, is adversely affected by my decision. And it feels good :-6

Ahh today is a good day. Usually people relax on the weekend after a busy week, but for me it seems to be the opposite all the time. Today is gonna be a nice, relaxing day, where I can enjoy the sun that has grazed me for the first time in days. And it's actually pretty hot, which is surprising considering we have just entered into October. So all is good!!

Despite it was a Monday and the usual work day from hell.. today was no exception.. It was great.. I love the Autumn my favorite time of the year.. it was

cool and crisp outside but sunny.. leaves are changing quickly and so pretty.. geese were flying in big flocks all day long overhead going south.. dogs were driving me nuts wanting out continuously cuz it was nice and cool and tons of squirrels to chase in the yard... after morning phone calls and emails I decided

screw it and put the phones on the machine and refused to answer the biz email.. cleaned the house, did 10 loads of laundry.. and never got out of my PJ's... but I got stuff done I've been trying to do for days ! All in all it was good.
