The lifting of America's lockdowns coincides with the large-scale adoption of mask wearing in public settings. It may have triggered the lower deaths to positive case ratio. That would make sense if it were so and it appears to fit the graph on a superficial viewing.
On lifting lockdown the youth rush out whilst the elders fear to tread
