Arguably black people were here before the english which is great one liner to start an argument.

Tell you what Fourpart.... Instead of carping at me and my Party In every thread, how about you stand for election? There's plenty of time. After all, you'rethe one who advises your local MP on a regular basis and according to you, he takes your points on board. Why not stand ?

Awww Thanks Anne..... I will share them with you personally. Lots of Idea's being tossed around right now. Don't want to give away strategy here too much but we'll probably drop the Party Leaflets before Christmas, that's to let the electorate In my Ward know my Party Is In town so to speak. Then a few weeks before polling day, It looks like they'll do a blanket drop on every house In the Ward with the leaflets that are personal to me and that area. For example, people are up In arms here over the Government slaughtering our wildlife so as an animal rights activist. that's an agenda I can push on my leaflets. They seem to like the Idea of me writing a personal letter to every household, not Individually naturally haha and dropping those a week before polling day.
The other night, they came up with the Idea of my having a blog so when my leaflets go out, the blog address will be on It and people If they wish can go to my blog and see what I've been doing or more detail about my local policy.
If you are really Interested, I will send you the glossy leaflet when they are finished but It will probably be early next year. Right now, we're all sitting around drinking coffee, scoffing cream cakes and talking Idea's. They have given me a rough format. I also have yards of research to do on Postal votes... yawn !!

The incumbant usually wins, the side with the most money usually wins, & the district is usually gerrymandered, that is, cut along party lines to keep the incumbant in. That's how they do it around here, rather disgusting I think.

I don't agree with attack Ad's at all. To be fair, on my leaflet's we will push the fact that The Tories ordered the Badger Cull In my Immediate area because people are very, very upset about that right now but I don't believe In assassinating the character of other candidates. Attack policies yes, and failures In those policies but not the person himself. I think that makes the candidate doing the assassinating look bad himself and often backfires big time.

Well things are certainly moving on... Part of an E Mail I had yesterday
' Concerning your proposal to stand as an MP in the forthcoming general election, I would be most willing to write up your election manifesto and publish it on a 'blog' that can be viewed on the internet by all your potential voters. I have done a 'blog' for C**** S**** who stood as a candidate in the Exeter City Council elections, which can be viewed on *********
It is impossible to cover everything about yourself on a leaflet, so having a 'blog' will give you the opportunity to reach a wider audience.
We have plenty of time to collate your details and present them in a professional fashion on the internet; but don't leave it too late.
So come on FG peeps... any Idea's for the Manifesto ?
Moving on from that, I've now had a taste as a potential Candidate ie people contacting me with their problems. Had some experience with this already but not approached as the Parliamentary Candidate. I'm now attempting to help a woman get her children back from SS, problems with housing and another personal matter...

Well, after my first consultation, It's felt we address something vital In the first Instance... that of the ' Mistaken Identity' Issue that saw The Bristol Evening Post print a retraction and offer some dosh out of court for libelling me.
Maybe useful as to lay out exactly what led to this, who did It and for what ends... either way, I think It has to be addressed. Many people could still be under the Impression that the war memorial vandal, who 4 of his mates ratted on In court, Is still a poor child mistaken for another gobby youth who he systematically blamed for over a year.

Just got home from an action morning In the Ward I am contesting. I am actually very surprised. We expected some hostility handing out leaflets and talking to local people In a shopping Mall about what local Issue's concern them. Not one single word of hostility. Many said they were pleased to see the Party was In town. Handed out hundreds and hundreds of leaflets and got an Idea of local Issue's. I'm actually really surprised at how successful the morning was.
Out every Saturday now right up to the election.

I had to laugh at this. I just got an email update on 38 Degrees campaign to bring about the Recall Bill & it included this paragraph as to the importance of the bill...
At the moment, an MP could switch parties to the BNP and their constituents couldn't sack them. [1] They could fail to turn up in Parliament for five years and we'd have no power to make them change their behaviour. There's so many other things MPs can do between elections that go unchecked. And here's our chance to stop this - and improve democracy! [2]

The Blog website Is finished and live on the Internet. How exciting. It's early stages and needs tweeking but out there all the same. Now I just have to think up weekly updates that are supposed to be Interesting to voters In the area.
The Logo Is finished although my master Is not happy with my photograph because I'm not smiling. He wants to drag me up that bloody war memorial and pose by the Cross as one did for the Daily Mail.... have to think about that one... but I agree with him that In that Ward, that damn Granite Cross and my mush do tend to go hand In hand.
Out again with the team In the Ward shoving leaflets on unsuspecting shoppers as they go about their business all day tomorrow.
Personal Leaflets being designed ready for a blanket drop In April and posters also being designed.
Have not seen one UKIP, Labour or Tory out on the streets as yet. tut tut, such complacency !!

I'm always suspicious when the powers that be say ' I think you'll like this months Bulletin magazine '....That worries me.....And sure enough this months arrived In the post this morning and knowing the same has gone out to thousands of people In the post also, there I am as a feature with one of the worst photographs of me ever taken.
Still, It at the least made my husband roll about laughing when he considers me to be the laziest person he's ever met to be described as ' The Dynamic' In print.
An Invitation also came In last night to be the guest speaker In Manchester which I will accept as I'll go anywhere for a free lunch.
I'm preparing my presentation at the annual Conference at the end of the month also In the bid to have the ban of Fox Hunting and Hunting with hounds put Into the Party Manifesto for May.

Oh, I don't know. One of Dictionary.com's definitions for "Dynamic":
Computers. (of data storage, processing, or programming) affected by the passage of time or the presence or absence of power: Dynamic memory must be constantly refreshed to avoid losing data.
