Anyway I am now going back to completely ignoring you. Have a good life and may your imaginary friend go with you.

Don't you think your Atheist bretheren will accuse you of not wanting to discuss things with others? That is how they accuse me when I do just what you are doing;

I wonder why they do not accuse you of it?

But before you go, can you explain to me why so many, many people are reading the crap, and doing it consistantly? And explain why you imagine that they are not reading it?? Whats wrong with your imagination? Records are being broke here everyday, and your missing out on what the people are reading.

Well to be honest; I already know why.

If I have a religion, this sums it up very well for me.

Of course not Georgia ... You are not a religious zealot by any stretch of the imagination.

The lady I know is NOT a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious ideals.

Hmmmm ... Unless you've changed since we stood looking out your bedroom window on that hot & sultry southern night. :sneaky:

LOL Jj you rascal! :) No it's true that I've always believed that you never get through to anybody by beating them over the head with a Bible, I like to show my faith in the way I live. I've had someone to tell me recently that I have the purest heart of anyone they have ever known and that I light up the room everywhere I go. So I just let it be known that I am a religious person and people can't take it from there. :)

As for some of the replies in this thread about the accuracy of the Bible, let me say that I agree. Some of the Bible has probably been rewritten wrong over the years, but my faith doesn't hinge of the fact if every word in the Bible is correct. I have seen enough things in this life that the idea that there is no higher power or whatever you want to call it, is not acceptable to me. The excuse of coincidence or whatever just doesn't cut it after a while. :)

The bible is not 100% accurate, because it was mistranslated by men over the centuries who thought they knew and understood its meaning enough to change it accurately from different language to different language; and some of those men made changes according to their beliefs, not God's.

But enough of it has survived intact to get its message accross.
