They made us go to church while in basic training, that really rubbed me the wrong way but not enough for me to make a stink about it. So the numbers can say whatever percentage of our troops are Christian but I still have to question the accuracy of their stats.

With us, whoever didn't want to go to church stayed to clean the barracks. Now there's some incentive.

It would be interesting to know what proportion of the US and UK military convert to Islam, either before leaving active service or after. You know, with the vast majority having that profound respect for Islam and all it ought by rights to be a significant fraction.
