I am and always have been very proud to be Canadian, and feel very blessed to have some of the coolest scenery around me.

Calgary is located in the province of Alberta. We are the second most western province of Canada, only British Colulmbia is further west.

We have prairies, mountains and badlands.

Here are a few cool pics of Sothern Alberta.

Morraine Lake is incredible.

I just had no idea of the beauty in Canada!

You have every reason to be proud of your Beautiful Country!

If I ever win the lottery, I hope to be able to travel and see all these places. :)

This is a great thread.

Thanks for sharing!

Good Morning!

This is the Mackinac Bridge.

It links together the Upper Peninsula and Lower Peninsula of Michigan.

I believe it is 5 miles long.

Oh my gosh you guys those are fabo pictures all of them, keep them coming I love this :)

Nomad your pic montage's were cool, how do you do that. I have to admit in a kind of dark artsy kind of way the gangland collage was interesting. And like Carla said sad but true.

I would love to be this person who's link I attached. The did a pretty cool cross country (Canada) photo adventure. Please check it out guys there are awesome pics

I plucked out these 2 of the Qu Appelle Valley, the unique thing about this is you travel the trans Canada Highway though Saskatchewan and you darn near fall asleep because as the prairies streatch out before you the only thing that interuptes our vision is a cow or 2. Ok a possible barbed wire fence as well.

But the Qu Appelle Valley drops you beneath the priairie level into a gorgeous haven. I have only read about it and seen it from afar but I would love to get there one day.

Here are a couple pics hilited from the link I provided.

bah the skinny picture does not work I will post a second photo next post

Images of the UK are so well known I thought I would post an image of my local village church. It is indicative of the history our nation has

It was mentioned in the Domesday Book - a survey of England undertaken by William the Conquerer and completed in 1086 although there was a church there long before the Conquest.

The local school, next door to the church, dates from 1638

"My Town in Noo Joisey...." This is a beautiful, little beach town that I've been coming to for summer holidays since I was a child. I live here now with all of my memories of my family:-4

I thought the disparity between her problems and some of the other peoples problems was noteworthy. Shes in a position to do great things. Perhaps she will.
