She chased me (although she would never admit it), then when she stopped chasing, I started chasing her.

Then she went home for vacation (she was from somewhere else), she called me one night and told me she had some news, that she booked the church and gave me the date for when we were getting married, she then told me to feel free to ask her to marry me any time I wanted.

Seriously, Lon has it right, I think: You think of the circumstances. I've certainly had situations where I've had to refuse to react to come-ons, and although there is (almost!) always a certain wistfulness I'm glad I did what was right.

Personal quickest from diagnosis to action was approx 3 mins. Relationship lastest only a few weeks, but hey, it was fun!
