I received it just now in my e-mail:

"Don't use words like 'I think' or 'I might' or 'I'll try.' Use words like 'I believe' and 'I will' and 'You can depend on me.' I had a guy working with me one time. Every time I'd give him an assignment, he'd respond by saying, 'I think I might be able to try.' You can't build a business with a person like that on your team."

-Nido Qubein, Humanitarian and Speaker

It has set in motion a new thought process. I will not use expressions like 'I think' or 'I might' or 'I'll try.' I will now use the expressions like 'I believe' and 'I will' and 'You can depend on me.' How about you friends?

"An open posture -- in which you sit with your arms relaxed, your legs slightly apart, and your body tilted a little forward toward your conversation partner -- gives the message that you respect this person and you want to offer your full attention. Adopt this position and you communicate that you're open to influence, you're available for interaction."

"Keep a long-term view. Perspective means knowing that investing is not an overnight phenomenon but a long-term commitment. Once you have a long-term view, market volatility doesn't get to you as much because you know it's part of the deal."

"Practice being the kind of person you wish to attract. If you want to be loved unconditionally, practice loving unconditionally. If you want assistance from others, extend assistance whenever and wherever you have the opportunity. If you'd like to be the recipient of generosity, then be as generous as you can, as frequently as you can."

"Most children love receiving notes -- both those who can read and those who can't. Little ones are usually thrilled to receive a printed message from their parents. It encourages them to write or draw notes back to their parents."

This is something which I have never thought:

"Satisfied customers are unlikely to radically increase your sales. Satisfied customers are unlikely to push you and your colleagues to stay ahead of the competition. Go find some people who hate what you've got and who hate what your competitors have but still have a problem they want solved."

hello there people iam kinda new at this so dont laugh

all you can give is all you got

enless you give alittle more

people ask questions freely

but rarely take answers to heart

as long as you stand at the start of the race and never move forward

you can never take credit for trying

when all else fails try kicking it

if it doesn't work the first time try it again

if it still doesnt work repeat step one

sorry if their kind of lame but like i said iam new at this.

if life is a stage and we are the puppets

then who is really pulling the strings. :sneaky:

some people say that the path easiest to follow is the one most taken

the only problem with that is the hitchhikers that didnt make it :driving:

have you ever felt that some one was watching you

and you turned around to find that its yourself.

hello there people, ive come up with some more of these little quotes

an open eye is not an open mind

a thought is just the start of an idea

a word left unspoken is a word left unheard

life is not a play

it can not be rehearsed

so dont dwell on mistakes

their just steps to improvement

the idiot thinks he is smart

and can get no smarter

the wise man knows be is dumb

but can improve

do not think in everyperson

their is trust

they may give support

but lack the understanding

to catch you when you fall

a true thi8nker is the one who dreams with their eyes open

so they may see the true reality in front of them

a real winner is the one who can walk away after loseing and smile

always remember its already happened to some one else

so know theres a way to get through it

ok so thats it for know but i might be able to think of some more later.

It is bondage when the mind desires or grieves at anything, rejects or accepts anything, feels happy or angry at anything. Liberation is atained when the mind does not desire or grieve or reject or accept or feel happy or angry.

It is bondage when the mind is attached to any sense experience. It is liberation when the mind is detached from all sense experiences.

When there is no 'I', there is liberation; when there is 'I', there is bondage.

Considering thus, easily refrain from acceping or rejecting any thing.

Is it alright to be into cars? or football? if I can keep those 2 I will happily do without the rest, well, maybe women as well I suppose.

I don't think I would make a good guru, you see I like this idea of destroying the ego and all that and just existing, but then I watch "Top Gear" on BBC 2 and they are test driving the new Porche 911 turbo, and the head goes again, you know how it is.

No offence Surseh, but if you don't know her then I don't think she would appreciate me giving out details like that to people she didn't know on the Internet. The world is a small place nowadays though.
