Your fire last week made a lot of papers, Hoss, I saw it in the Washington Post that came with my email. I bet it would have been even more tense if the buildings hadn't been vacant. A blaze like that must leave a huge mess for someone to tidy up after.

http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123111197 describes it "a huge win not only for Travis AFB, but also for our partners in the local communities as well", the local emergency responders sound happy about the way it was managed. How long a shift do you get thrown into with a problem that big? Even a short time fighting it must be exhausting and they say it was ablaze for twelve hours.

It's an interesting career choice, it's one of the few jobs where everything you do is for the public good.
