Why did you join Forum Garden ?

I joined this site back in Feb. 08 and haven't been back to the other forums I belong to mainly because this site is much more fun and exciting. I have met alot of people in the garden.

i joined because I love the excitement of the daily crapshoot - will the margins be blown when i get to the site or will everyone have finally figured out how to post a thread correctly...

I haven't seen this thread in SO LONG... I'm sure my original response in here was likely different than most, too. It did grow on me, though... hey! I believe there's a really appropriate slogan in there somewhere, btw. :p I also have gone through the years since I originally joined with just posting in spurts then lurking or surfing the most recent posts and not doing much more than just that. It's not that I don't love this place, though... there have just been other areas of focus with me, personally.

Anyway... *continues skimming most recent posts by sorting through the first few pages of post-whore/cut and paste/word-game threads*

I've actually never been on a forum of any kind before and had never chatted with anyone online either, but i was taking an online class when i went back to college, it required a lot of discussion questions and i got hooked on discussing all sorts of topics with the rest of the class. when i had to quit college AGAIN when my baby was born i found myself missing the discussions and being home alone a lot with the baby, this is a way to have a adult conversation and get away from the cartoons for a while!:wah::wah:

Surely he'd left months before you arrived? I could go back and check but I'm sure I'm right. I'm rarely wrong, after all.

I joined because... Jives. Yep i remember sitting in Night Class and he was ALWAYS on here so i asked him about it and joined... I didn't really know what a forum was at the time but i been addicted since to like a bunch of forums! Which right now is a baaad thing haha
