Bamburgh Celebrates Millennium

The picturesque Northumbrian coastal village of Bamburgh has finally, yet spectacularly, celebrated the dawn of the new millennium, though three years and one month later than the rest of us. Virginia- beautiful scenery, mountains and beaches, a lot of historical sites (houses and civil war battlefields) was one of the places were the country began with the Jamestown settlement. Where the civil war ended, Appomatox Courthouse. Is known as the mother of presidents since 8 of our former presidents were born here.
