From what he was saying people did believe it, or maybe they didn't believe but found it a boost to their morale??

I found it all to swarmy from the start and he just seemed a perv but what really put me off was when he blew kisses to someone that had lost their partner to cancer, but now I realise that he was blowing himself as he was the orginal poster as well

No doubt about it though he could tell a story, practice really does make perfect :wah:

Im with you Red. The love stuff is always a red flag for me, and I am apalled when I see people respond to strangers questions regarding sexual topics. But thats just me. Im supposed to be an antiquated prude. But my assesment of the world the way it is today.... leaves me perfectly charmed to be the way I am. Ive always had an adversion to sleazy stuff.

Well, you knew I'd disagree with you two on this one.:wah:

There is no difference between an open discussion of ones sex life(there I said it!) and and open discussion of ones politics, abuse of any kind someone feels they may have suffered, illnesses they may be suffering, cures that may have worked for them, holidays they hope to take and/or their body and how it functions. These are all personal business, IMO.

Everyone has topics they don't care for. That's fine. You've expressed the same opinion repeatedly. Why? Why don't you just move on to a topic that does interest you? If I have no interest in the cooking threads and find them a total waste of time, I don't feel the need to point it out at every opportunity. I simply find a thread that does interest me.

I was agreeing with Weeder, that's why. I figure everyone else has thrown their two cents in so why not put mine in as well. We just differ, you and I on this one and that's fine. I think sex is personal and I don't enjoy hearing about how someone bedded whoever they picked up last night, it's tacky.

Rather than point it out at every opportunity which I don't, believe me, it was pertinent to the conversation after remembering JJ's thread about whether or not his women get off. I don't want to hear that sh*t especially from a stranger. *shudder*

That was what we were supposed to do. I remember you mentioning to me something about wanting to heat up the dating game or something to that effect. Besides I wanted to win. ;) I think Weeder said it best when she mentioned presentation. There's, in my eyes, a big difference between a suggestion of sex and coming right out with shall we say , the anal sex thread for example. God. That kind of stuff is too much information. It's just different viewpoints and personal codes I think.

By the way, what happened to the Innuendo Thread anyway? We tried to revive it several times.

Most certainly I wanted to heat it up... and I'm the one who started the Innuendo thread, which is why I'm not criticising anyone for writing sexual content.

What is sexy to one might be seen by two others as extremely lame or sickening in detail respectively, yet both might be talking about the same post. Members flirt all the time on every forum and how they go about doing that determines the type of person they get responding to them. If someone is looking for a conservative person they will likely be more conservative with their flirting. If looking for a sex maniac they will post more bluntly and risque. If everyone wrote the way I did and thought the way I did the world would be a very unstable place :wah: So I'm quite happy to see that others think and function in a way that may seem foreign to me.

I really enjoy writing whatever is on my mind in the way that it occurs to me to write. Why should anyone else be made to feel guilty for that?

I notice that you are big on having the right to your opinion no matter what the response is, so I'm just wondering why you are now criticising how other people express themselves. I'm not intent on arguing it out, just stating my opinion on the matter ;)

I didnt take reds post as a critisism of other people, i just thought she was expressing her opinion that its not really her thing. Also i think Innuendo is different to downright blunt staright forward sex talk:wah: It doesnt really bother me personally:thinking: if we were talking about comedians i would say i prefer innuendo rather than a crude joke. Who's making anyone feel guilty, Koan? Surely if they feel guilty that's their own doing.

Also, who's criticizing anyone? I wonder why so many others could have said the same thing but when Red Speaks it's seen as criticism. I just said what I didn't like, the same as others said what they did. That's all.
