That made me cackle out loud - couldn't explain why to my daughter but thank you so much for the laugh!

Ok here goes the tales of my violent nature :wah:, I am not violent, I prefer to avoid physical confrontation and would far rather use verbal skills to sort out a disagreement, however..................

a few years ago my step-daughter was an obnoxious cow of a teenager whose aim in life was to split up her dad and myself. She pushed me to the limit whilst on holiday and I reached over the car seat and thumped her, not hard just enough to shock her. I wasn't proud of it but for a variety of reasons I'd just had enough of her (being due 'on' didn't help either!!). She will admit now that she deserved it and we have a brilliant relationship, it was worth persevering.

Also, 15 years as a Special Constable sorting out drunken brawls earned me a few whallops but I'm pleased to say I didn't dish out any in return, and I didn't back away from it either. I did prefer to use other ways of resolving things before the violence kicked off,

Henry - just so you know, I am overweight, I don't live in a council house (we own two houses actually but that's not relevent), I am educated to a reasonable standard, I have no debts, I run my own business, I am a Town Coucillor and a School Governor, I have all my own teeth, I don't drink to excess, I don't smoke or take drugs, I believe in God, I have two chubby pets - goats that are quite old and don't run around as much as they used to but that comes to us all! I have a fairly full life, which includes forums - not because I am a sad-case but as a form of relaxation.

Feel free to take a swipe at me and my lifestyle, but be prepared for me to say rollocks back! Have a great weekend, preferably not at the expense of someone else.

The last time i REALLY hit someone, was when i was 16 and the woman was about 40+

In my defence, she had been taunting me for 3 years about my dad being dead. Anyway, i showed her...lol

Never been in an actual fistfight. and the only time I really wanted to beat the holy living sh*t out of someone I was 5 months pregnant. :-5
