I let my license go. I do miss the work sometimes. People are always offering me salon jobs and I can't take any without the license. :-5

Well, I must say lately I do care how I look when I go out. My hair has to be perfect and my outfits just right. I do turn heads and I do have smarts. I think it is up to the individual if it is important how you look. I feel I have lost 80lbs now and I would like to show it off like some of the other people around here. It kind of makes me feel happy when guys look at me.:)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yes, but if you feel good about yourself, it radiates to others & draws them to you. Self-pride is important.

It's human nature Darren, but what makes something last is a lot more than looks, it's personality, friendship, laughter. You are a great guy and I have no doubt that when you're ready you will meet a cracking lady. :-6

I feel really bad because my look isnt in anymore. When I was younger, people said I looked like Natalie Wood. In my 40's they said Susan Sarandon. Now, I guess i dont look like anybody, so noone looks at me at all. I know for certain that looks are a very personal thing. My friends would always tell me how awful looking they thought a man who I thought was great looking, after we broke up. And I know that someone physicall great looking can become horrible looking, if you discover you dont like who they are.

i dont think looks are important,my hubby is very into body buliding and everything that goes with it.He once said to me that i was not good looking and that no one would look at me twice,i think that was said to make him feel good, because i think he is insecure about himself.

I like a person for what they not on how they look.:)

I think Looks are important but not nessaraly your face or body shape but to take care in the way you dress I always like some one who dresses well and I always look at the shoes first being in clothes that suite you well will always make you feel better.

Does sound like insecurity on his part Neffy, just remember though, you could be projecting your own insecurity onto him, he's just acting it out. :-4

I've always tried to 'look my best' but never been obsessed. As long as people are clean and relatively tidy then that's OK by me.

What is 'good looking' anyway ?

Look underneath it all and we're all basically the same.

Alot of media pressure put on youngsters a think to look like models and so called superstars.

I've only ever looked quite ordinary, but my husband (ex) told me I looked better as I grew older. I 'think' I'm lucky because I'ved aged quite well (not too many wrinkles) but I do look in the mirror with a certain sadness sometimes .

You do not look your age Bez... You are attractive and you have quiet class.

Why, Id be proud to be seen with you. Aging is difficult for all of us. Looking in the mirror, and not finding who we used to see.
