Yes, sometimes men can be mean to girls, its a bit like the way we used to pull your pig tails in the school year.

But I think we all cried a bit when we saw that when we were young, its a good kids movie, sad, but kinda interesting story. Course nowadays the rabbits would be mutant rabbits, and they would be lap dancers, and their would probably be a heavy metal soundtrack, or there would be rapping rabbits, and it would be crap.

I never saw that film, Waterworld, I think I may have cried at the bit in Shane, when Alan Ladd leaves the little boy, but I can't remember.

Oh and pinky, I was watching the Wicker Man last night with the sister, it was the original cut version, its completely wacky because of the crazy way its edited, its like a drugs movie! The directors cut is great though, but I didn't cry at any of it, or at least thats my story.

Well, maybe we should leave one classic alone, there are loads of old classics you could "pimp" up to coin a modern phrase. You know, things like "The Railway Children", you could call it the "Mutha-Fooking RailJackers", and the Jenny Augutter Character could be a pro called Miss Fanny Lash, the little fella her dynamite throwing pimp called Dick Perv man, and I dunno if they had a dog it could be called mega-attack animal 7, the plot would involve "The 5-0" putting the "Man" down, and the railway men and their "Babylon" ways being overturned by wise-cracking hookers who play by their own rules, I am sure someone would watch it, someone is always up for watching that kinda crap. Specially for the insipid sex, and not well staged and unrealistic violence. :wah:

No, I have the whole of the Narnia Chronicles in books since I was little, but I heard that the Movie was not very good, however, the BBC show of the books was good when I was little, and so was a similar show they did called the "Box of Delights", at least thats how I remember it. :-6

Two that come straight to mind are The Colour Purple ( one of my faves) and Stella, a film with Bette Midler in, for those who said they cried at Beaches ,, you should watch Stella:D

Ya, I hate it when I end up watching chick flicks with my wife and I end up crying.

Steel Magnolias: Sally Field’s breakdown after her daughters funeral: killer scene, (but then I think Sally Field is one of the all time best Actresses).

Some other movie when a mother’s son is dieing of aids, and she is reading ‘Good night moon’.

The Color Purple...when the two sisters are being separated and one keeps screaming, "why?.....Why?'

Terms of Endearment..when the daughter is dying in the hospital and the mom is yelling at the nurses to give the daughter her pain meds, "now!"

Schindlers Lists...when he cries, "I could have done more!"

Buster and Billie..when Buster holds his murdered girlfriend.

Some of the scenes that touch my heart everytime I watch them. Can't help it.
