You should use all tools at your disposal, even semaphore might be an option, but you will need two flags, or at least rip a blanket in half and use that. Morse code, thats also recognized as an international language of love, and shipwrecks so thats an option, if you have a telegraph machine. :)

What else, smoke signals, runes, gestures, mime, there are lots of possibilities.

Actually I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any software I could get to perhaps learn a little of a different language...I would google it, but like with anything else, they will ask you for money and half of your arm.

Are we into talking klingon-talk now, :thinking: we never did that at school, but maybe in the future it may be useful, but if you are gonna get into that, why not learn to speak hobbit as well, (which is like standard English with a west country accent) "aaallo maaaster frooodooooghhhh! :wah:

K.Snyder - there are a lot of websites offering free language lessons, with sound files etc. Have a look, for example, at the About.com series - and enjoy!!

Yeah, I actually Started to learn German from About.com...

I even get the right pronunciations...:wah:

I can talk a little German but i've forgot most of it since i've left High School :wah:
