Rabid? I'm not sure but I think it involves duct tape. No seriously, pray. Hard. And run. Especially if they're rabid they're going to get you but they'll get you if you stand there too and you can't beat them off with a cholla branch so you may as well make them work for it.

It's tough to decide and to pick only one. I woudl say my biggest flaw is lack of self discipline. I am way too easy on myself and things don't get done.

Sheryl;568397 wrote: What do you do when your bored?

Usually when I'm bored I come online. I use "Stumble" this program that takes me to random websites and I find all kinds of neato stuff that way. I also read and I listen to music because that brings up my mood a little.

Yep, I've gone skinny dipping a couple of times but either alone or with my former husband. Never in mixed company.

Prank calls! Yep! Tried to set up an old boyfriend on a bogus date once and the worst one that I'm actually embarrassed about was when I was selling viitamins by phone, some guy wouldn't buy so I called him back later and left an obnoxious overtly flirtatious message about what a wonderful time I had with him and that we should do it again soon. With a lot of gross giggling. I called myself Trixie. I'm sure his wife didn't like that. :o

Nope, no arrests. Got in trouble during an entrapment sting for selling beer to an 18 year old but I swear they dressed her to look 25, easy. I never would have sold her beer if I'd had any inkling.

The worst film BY FAR was "Blood sucking Freaks." It had everything- blood gore, violence, amputees, torture, sadomasochism, "water sports," all kinds of gross stuff. I thought it would be just a regular horror movie but no way could I stomach it. It never should have been made.

I do have some Sea Monkeys that are really growing! I did have a sweet cockatiel a few years ago and I've had tropical fish and bunnies in the past. :)

What's your favorite flavor of icecream?

:)

If i had to pick an animal not to like, it would be a squid or a jellyfish just because they look so disgusting. But really there is no animal I dislike. I'm a little leery of horses and cows but I still like them. Just from afar. ;)

I admire my mom the most for kicking cancer's ass almost three times and never giving up and being a class act the entire time. I know no other heroes.:-4

It's ice cream made from black walnuts....it's ...uhh...sweet...but not too sweet, tan in color and has (obviously) a slight dry and bitter nut taste and there are nut pieces in the ice cream. A lot of people don't care for it but I grew up on it and learned to like it. Have you got a Baskin Robbins near you? They sell black walnut. It's in the grocery stores too. :)

Hello deary :)

to date, what has been your most spectacular adventure?

Ask Red Glitter

Hi M!

I don't know that I've ever had any actual adventures. I'd love to say I was an African missionary or that I jumped out of a plane but I can't sooo....it would either be the time I flew to Seattle and met a bunch of people from online so we could go see this band we all loved and we women tracked the band all over town :D (we hid in the bushes and everything) and then we actually got to meet them face to face.

OR

It would be the trip I took to Utah one summer with my mom and my best friend. We were headed for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, that was the goal of the trip. That was amazing because it's like Mecca for people in animal rescue and I was so proud and overjoyed to be there. Then we went to Zion National and Bryce Canyon. I hiked Zion and it was gorgeous there but I thought Bryce was better. I just loved Utah period, the scenery, the fresh air.

For me just getting on a plane and getting out of my town is an adventure in itself. I love travel. :)

This is silly but phlegm in a dog's or cat's eyes. I can pick off ticks, and clean up after them, when they're sick or whatever but if they have dirty eyes, it just scuzzes me out.

Watching babies eat sometimes. Sorry but it's true. Or if their moms eat or drink after them and there's that cookie sludge around the glass? Ugh.

And finally, occasionally being very, very muchly absolutely nuts in love with someone will do it, but not in front of them, thank God.

What's your favorite flower?

Cabbage roses. Any roses.

K, what kind of humidity do you have? Is it bad?

Animals....at my house I have a warren of desert cottontail rabbits that convene in my yard every night. There are usually between 10 and 20 of them. We also have coyotes although with everyone moving in, they're getting displaced. I was walking home around 2 one morning and I passed two coyotes at about twelve feet. I looked at them, they looked at me and they leapt across the road and went on their way. My heart stopped a second but it was a total thrill. I'm not afraid of them, but I have a healthy respect for them. We also have owls, vultures, roadrunners, cactus wrens, (state bird) mourning doves, redwing blackbirds. Kangaroo rats which are big rats with really long tails...sometimes we'll see an occasional desert kit fox. And we have bats! I have bats around my place at night in the summer. We also have lizards and iguanas and ...ugh..scorpions.

Oh dang, I forgot the snakes! yes, and some deadly ones, like the Mojave rattler...no known antivenom for it. Plenty of different kinds of snakes but I couldn't tell you what as I'm not up on my snakes. We also have skunks and about an hour from me up in the Hualapais (mountain range) we have mountain lions and bears. I have never (thank God) seen those guys up close and personal. I go to Oatman pretty often which is a touristy ghost town. They have wild burros there who have descended from the pack mules of the original miners who left them behind when they were done using them. They can be fed and petted and have complete roam of the town. Next time I go I'll put up a picture in the Photo Thread. They're cute.
