So many people want to make this a religious war and there is no one single or group of religions large enough to really unite the west under. We are not driven by God to fight...we fight for survival.


Your statement was that this is a war against radical Islam - that makes it a religious war. The fact that it is a secular entity declaring war on a religious group does not negate that description.

Vastly different to going against a single isolated group of terrorists and totally unacceptable as a cause for invasion

Its not about oil or resource domination, if we truly wnated to we could pull up our tent stakes and leave, pull up our walls around the US, use our technology to build cars that operate on water... and live happily ever after, or at least till they are completely surrounding us.

No. It's always been about domination of ideals... they want to dominate our ideals, and I know this to be true, because if they had a peaceful ideology then we'd accept them with open arms, negotiate a fair price for rosources and live in relative peace.


If the war against terror is not about political influence then please tell me why we invaded Iraq?

Iraq was not involved in 9/11. Iraq was not involved in supporting Al-Quada. Iraq was not a Radical Islamic state.

Where is the threat to western ideals that makes it essential to overthrow Iraq?
