It *has* been a problem.

I had to sit Buster down and have a long talk with him. He somehow has taken a real shine to The Great Doctor. It's been difficult, but I've managed to redirect his affection to the miniature dashchund down the street.

What can I say? At least my boy has good taste in men :-4

Jimbo sweetie, I think you are great fun and I really enjoy your posts. But it is so obvious that you and Suzy are good together and for each other.

It's a real shame that people can't take each other at face value and that someone thinks there's more to it and is warning Suzy, how many more times do you have to say she reads all your posts - if she wasn't happy I'm sure she'd let you know.

I love flirting and double entendres, I have spent most of my adult life working in male dominated environments and a bit of banter and flirting is second nature, yes sometimes I go too far or they do but what the hell.

The most important thing is that I would never do anything to jepordise my marriage but he's a flirt too! Both of us would be shocked if anyone wanted to take things any further though!!

However he is fully aware that I would leave him without a backward glance for the wonderful Viggo Mortensen.

p.s. Snyderstud - don't think you're off the hook yet either!!

If that cat so much as hinted my way, I would beat it everytime it came within arms, or legs reach...without you seeing it of course.

No-one, but NO-ONE hurts my pets. The last whacko who took a shot at him with an airgun found that out...

He was lucky he can still walk.

I'm not that distasteful...

I would just punch the crap out of it as it walked by,...no harm really.

But if he meant that much to you Pinky, I would refrain...although maybe a quick slap when you're not looking. :sneaky:

Oh dear! I feel so out of touch on this thread. I obviously need some tuition. Is anyone prepared to teach me - Pinky? Anyone......? I promise to be a good pupil.

Crikey Pinky, you took a long time to come back! I thought this thread was dead in the water - so - what was the "track", I've forgotten now?

I think flirting is okay. Everytime I go to my doctor, he flirts with me even in front of hubby, there is no real harm in it. It is if the other person takes it to far. My hubby says it's okay for someone to look, but if they touch they are dead> hahah

If the other partner doesn't have a problem with flirting, that is between them.

But, if it bothers your partner, you should discuss it.

And adjust yourself accordingly.

For exmple, Jimbo-just aks Suzy how she feels about it. I don't mean here on a board, there at home. Then discuss it.

its all very natural and lots of fun...as long as those involved are secure in their own relationships

In fact i think such behaviour can help real life relationships...add an extra zing!

I think if anyone steps out of line then I can see that people around here will inform you without hesitation
