The place had 8 exam rooms. However, the door to the 8th room was suddenly closed for no reason. I knew we didn't have a patient in that room, so my curiosity got the best of me.

I opened the door.

One of the male doctors was standing up, with his pants around his ankles, doing *the deed* with one of the dental assistants. She was bent over the surgical chair, her face shoved into all the sterilized dental instruments on the tray. They both had their surgical masks on to muffle the sounds.

I worked for five years for a podiatrist, but we had a falling out in June and I left his practice. He was a yeller and a screamer, and I had decided that I'd had enough of that.

I took July and August off from medical office work; I just worked for the hubby. I decided that when Labor Day weekend came, I would get my medical resume together and start looking for a part-time job in that arena.

I had my first interview yesterday and . . . they just called me with a job offer! I'm really excited: I'll be working with five oral surgeons assisting with the patient care. I'll be in their office on Thursdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This will give me plenty of time to continue helping my husband with his practice.

YEAH!! The office manager told me my personality got me the job.

So . . . wish Cher luck! I start this week :-6


Funny you should mention teh podiatrst being a screamer. I was just looking at a painting called The Screamer or The Scream. I had seen it before and thought it was Van Gogh, but of course I was wrong. It was Munch( pronunced Monk) I think. I like it. Of course that why its a classic, lots of people like it.

It went walkabout, Okie, and has, I believe, only just been recovered. Think it lives in Oslo. I have a pair of purple socks with the Scream pictured on the ankles.. nice.

(Sometimes I like to see how threads can slooooooowly slide away from the original topic! LOL...from Cher's new job to "The SCREAM.")
