Good thinking ..I'm amazed at the talent and enthusiasm here. It would be well worth doing ..

On one forum they have what they call the "bastardisation lounge " People would put up photos of themselves and the other members would manipulate them in all manner of 'humorous' ways .. :sneaky: .. but that seems to limited to me..

Following from this thread I was going to do one where a single picture starts the thread and is added to by the following poster .. and so on.. always finding new ways to change the image until there is no trace of the original ..

Beyond that there are alot of Photoshop related threads that would be worth doing as well ..

As for a name ...hmmm ..'Picture this' ?..LOL.. it should reflect the fact that it's about 'doing' rather than just chatting about it .. I'll think on it...hmmmm

the quality of your work and your potential will increase ten-fold. it's a daunting program to use at first, but well worth the money and the effort.

If you do I recomend you just get the elements 4..It's a quarter of the price and has all the toys of the full version.. That was done on elements 4..

What I will ask is that these photos be "attached" to the post rather than hotlinked. Hotlinked images are very very problematic since they usually present the reader with a blank page after a year or two.

I've never been on a forum that uses 'attached' images so I'm not familiar with it .. Ho do you do it .. I use photobucket myself..

Go to .. save for web > then select gif and animation( loop ) .. It's a bit complex at first but like the rose it can be very easy to do for simple things..that one is just two pictures.

That is nice... typical Argi style. I'm not sure how to improve upon that, yet... but I do have my Photoshop open working on some other graphics... should the creative urge hit me... I'll toss something on there.
