Shyness, and how make it go away

Yup, serendipity. I hope the organizers think up some ways to introduce people to each other, although I wouldn't count on muesli because the English Lit world is *stuffy*. But I hope I'll spot some grad students looking equally terrified.

And, talking of coincidences, I discovered that one of the presenters is someone one of my best friends (who goes to school in Paris) organized a seminar with (in Cambridge). Small world, I guess, but I do intend to pounce on that lady and mention the unlikely conection.

PS: I think granola tops muesli :yh_drool
