Oh good. I think you'll be very happy. The upholstery brush is especially nice. I was doing the stairs with the vac at the top and it fell down and a piece broke off so I brought it back and lied. I have a fresh one now and I feel much better.

Yes. And then when Im done I vacuum the brush I was vacuuming the vacuum with. Then I start thinking the inside of the hose must be awfully dirty and thats when I lose my mind.

NO, but I do brush it down with a soft brush and wash out the drum that collects the grime.....that's the trouble with a Dyson...you can see all the 'nasties' that have been sucked up....

Rick tore the vacumn apart last week. The hose was all clogged up with crap. (can I say crap here?). Seems to be working better.

Consider yourself dragged then. It gets lonely down here all alone.

have any of you tried the roomba vacuum robot yet? i love mine....sit on the couch , watch it run around. it even parks itself back on the charger under a chair when it is through. love it. love it. love it.
i call it my new pet. the only thing it did was suck all the leaves off a plant that was growing down to the floor. stipped the poor little guy bare. learned my lesson there. pick up all dangling leaves before u turn on the roomba. ...........

OMG, I didn't know anybody had one of those. Sounds great other than eating plants. I could put my dead ones down. How much does one of those cute little babies cost, thereabouts or so or something.

the roomba mop is to die for. fill it up. put in the cleaner and let it go. it beeps you to empty it and when it is done it signals to come put it up. love it. cleans the floors sqeaky clean. and it gets right up against the base boards. i have tile and grout lines. it gets it all clean as a whistle.
i hurt my back awhile back and this was my families idea of helping me. omg. best present ever. i will NEVER go back to the mop and dirty water in the bucket again.
i set it up, pick up the rugs in the bathroom. put it down. start it, and shut the door . amazing.
ps. now i am a spoiled little fish. ha ha. and i am a gemini. i think geminis are known for liking gadgets. at least this one is.

So this roomba machine is one component vacuum and mops- or two diffrent robots that are purchased seperately? I have a bagless vacuum - it's worthless ablsolutely the worst piece of junk.
Let me know thanks Patsy

Patsy, they are two diff. critters. i got one last year and one this year as a gift. the vacuum runs around the room in a pattern somewhat like the robots in a pool do. eventually it gets every square inch of carpet. it can go under anything that is at least four inches off the floor. it runs under the couch and chases the cat out sometimes. it is hilarious. if you want it to go in a certain place , it has a remote control. you can send it where you want it. when it finds a pretty dirty place it will run around in a tight circle over it untill it gets it clean. the only drawback i have seen to it is it will get hung on fringe on a rug. so you can't let it go where you have tassles or fringe. it will get stuck. and beep it's little head off to be rescued.

Thanks for the reply, sounds great, don't know if I can afford it.
I thought a bagless vacuum would be the answer to no fuss no muss - wrong.
