I will not, repeat NOT give up my tag of Smooth. It fits me, and I'm proud of the fact that it was the president of the Angels who gave it to me. I will be known as Smooth in our biker circles till the day I die. :p

Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki each employ more American workers than Harley does. Bullet's Honda was built in Ohio.

You can really see the difference when you look at them, although you

aren't likely to see many of any of those nowadays.

Knuckle: 1936-1947

Nothing - perfectly acceptable agricultural machinery

Accountable wrote: as for the engine, I've heard of knucklehead, panhead, and shovelhead. Not sure what the names mean, though.

As they progressed from sidevalve through to pushrod overhead valves the shape of the cylinder head changed and the engine type was named after that.

Quoting from their prospectus :-

"The College is located in the village of Bryn Mawr (the name means "high hill" in Welsh), about nine miles west of Philadelphia"

So probably the village was originally settled by the Welsh - possibly from my part of the country.

When's Bullet's deadline for choosing his new tag?

Has anyone in the new club made tag suggestions?

Do you have any tags you particularily like?

There is no deadline. Some members go years without a proper tag and are just called by their first name.

There have been suggestions, yes, the most recent being "8-ball" because of his ability to shoot pool, but I don't like that one. They call crack rocks 8-balls.

I like "Ammo", "Sniper", and "Fuse." "Fuse" the best because he has such a long one, but once it's burned up....look out.

Fuse is good. Fusion is popular now too -- in cars and drinks and such...... Interesting info on 8-ball -- didn't know that. :-2

Well, it looks like we've done it: Finally a brother tagged Bullet with something he can live with. "Shooter." This is in reference to his pool-shooting ability, and his drinking capacity. Go figure. I'm ok with it, but only just. "Shooter" to me, has the same connotations as "8-Ball." Like, will he be considered a needle user by people that don't know him?

We'll just have to see how it works out, and if it truly sticks.

I will probably continue to call him Bullet here, just to keep confusion down, though.

I told you all...as soon as I knew, you all would know. :yh_bigsmi

Congrats on the new tag!

If it doesn't stick, you know we'll all drown you with new tags for him to consider, :D but I somehow get the feeling you may not make this request again. :D :D :D
